Why does Nick have to be so negative all the time? How does this message help anybody?

Pretty sure he’s half joking. Probably his real take is that you can still do most things but because you waited so long certain high ambition things are off the table.

Sadly, there’s a lot of truth to this. I’m 33 and in the last 3 years I’ve realized that if you ever want to be really great at something you pretty much need to be on that path or at least an adjacent path by your late 20s.

What is the point of this format where Nick shills repost some groyper fag from twitter talking about some meaningless non-political statement he made like it's something out of his diary?

If you can genuinely feel that way I’m happy for you but most ambitious people don’t feel that way. Most ambitious people realize in their thirties they had to do a whole lot of things years ago to get where they want to go and life becomes miserable because it becomes about waging a hopeless struggle or tolerating life until you die.

I think people need to understand that he isn’t talking about working as an engineer as a startup or having a good job but genuinely doing something exceptional or unique with your life.
