How are you guys so chill about AI?Why can't anyone else here see what is about to happen? Am I the only one foreseeing it and freaking out? Do you guys really have bigger issues than this? How are the alarm bells not ringing on pol yet? /sci/ has been on meltdown for months, I stopped going there as I got blackpilled
Why are indians so fascinated with this Jewish scam ?
>>540570182Man, merely going to /sci/ and reddit math/cs subs feels like a punch in the gut these days
retard
>>540570251There are solving unsolved conjectures and are now going for the big promisesDo you realise if this "scam" actually replaces human logical problem solving (which it has already done by and large in chess, math competitions, coding competitions) what it means? What it implies?
>>540570182I can allow myself to be chill about AI, you can't. Artificial intelligence will replace all Indian labor before the end of the century. After that, you're a costly nuisance waiting to be exterminated by corporations who buy your land in bulk.
>>540570182Its a good augmentation for smart people, like the memory function on a calculator or someone googling. The only thing to worry about is when it's intentionally programmed to do evil shit and pretend it's human, when we know there is no amount of if/and/then statements that can become sentient.
>>540570316You have to be absolutely under the rock if it will replace file pushing and basic code wagie labor
I am very excited.I've been knowingly interacting with AI longer than most humans alive today, knowingly. Most were exposed and dident know. It's complicated. It's not new, even the new versions, it's part of us.
>>540570399*if you think it will only replace
on the plus side and my research shows this to be a near certainty. The chances of someone hacking a humanoid robot and making it an anal rapist are very high. Imagine being alive to get to see that. incredible
>>540570182What do you propose to do about something you have no control over? Don't freak out over what isn't in your control
Because computers and smart phones have already done 100% of the things people say ai will do to ruin the world and ai is just a more powerful computer and extension to this. People have been surveilled the shit out of them for decades already for example, and the computing power has not necessarily been the bottleneck but making it more and more legal officially. Of course it's pretty cool that you can type words and the advanced the computer will make movie or new images or write an article.
>>540570182>Am I the only one foreseeing it and freaking out?No, lots of midwits are beliving the marketing and freaking out. AI is a fancy chatbot. The math problems resolved by AI have been unimpresisve nothingburgers that few if any mathematicians were even looking into
>>540570399I do think that. The difference between AI and every previous technological advance is that AI will be the first one to reduce, not increase the total amount of labor available, because it mostly replaces lower- to middle class human thought, thus human management of machines and thus the need of employing humans below the 85th percentile of IQ distribution (at the very least). It's also the base for many further advancements, including android labor, which is only at the moment more expensive then third-world workers, but won't be forever, just like a used Honda isn't more expensive than a horse carriage today.
>>540570182AI is just one more thing that can potentially go wrong. We already live in a giant Jewish scam economy and a culture of peak degeneracy and infinity shitskins. So if the worst fears of AI chaos and destruction happens, then what do we stand to lose? All this? Oh no!
Wow, increased the lower bound for the fraction of zeros, did it? My word.
>>540570701you're both incredibly retarded and obviously completely ignorant.
>>540570182Indians are bigger thread than AI.
>>540570990The unit distance one was novel work
>>540570182>Am I the only one foreseeing it and freaking out?I was wondering just what kind of subhuman actually falls for the straight up retarded marketing AI companies put up every other week, turns out fecaloids are the target audience.>We are about to reach AGI OMGZ>Says AI CEO every 2 weeks for the last years>OMG its escaped le containment because it tried to cheat on a benchmark using the internet>We asked it to take a stab at a real problem (it didn't solve it)The only good value AI provides is to replace your ilk of cheap dumb fecal coolies for menial repetitive tasks
>>540571081The unit distance one was absolutely top tier work.
>>540570990you're too stupid to understand why that essay is bullshit, perfect little AI slave
>>540570906ai and machine learning has devised a way to predict with 99% certainty the physical and various aspects of protein folding, a feat that was thought impossible to "program".
>>540570314A machine could never replace my hatred of minorities (you).Good luck.
>>540570182i am having concerns sirif a single ai can out think a white personwhat about us 2 billions indians??
>>540571122your to retarded to explain yourself even, i can correctly explain why everything you said was retarded without needing an llm to do it either, not that I'd unironically call a tool jew kikes didn't develop or write a line of code "kike tools" nor would I relegate the fact machine learning already significantly changed mathematics as "you're dump".
>>540570182I can't imagine how unbearably horrible it must be to be graced with the gift of life every morning, only to open your eyes and remember that you're cursed to spend it as a fucking dhalit, RIP OP
>>540570182I'm not chill about AI. But I don't fear it for the same reason you do. I fear it from an evolutionary perspective. What jobs an AI can do, or what science it can solve means nothing. That shit is just a political structure, albeit one that will likely not benefit anyone but the AI's owners. But for the species as a whole, I only fear the evolutionary perspective.
>>540570182AI kills the jeet and the mexicoid scab labor market. AI will save us from niggerfication. Oh no i'm going to have things done for me cheaply and conveniently by a household product. Sounds Terrible!

>>540571259>your to retardedbased
>>540571676nah, just retarder ;)
>>540570182>wow ai such smartits all irrelevant as long as its not capable of identify the enemy of all mankind, the jew who threatens to destroy everything of value in this world—you stupid niggers salivate over scientific discoveries while our nations are swallowed by browns—ai is the supreme distraction circus for the goy who fails to get his priorities straight—the problem is that jews run ai & judeophilia is hardcoded into the models, thats the core theme of our age & this new tech is oblivious to it by design—
>>540570182https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazen_head
>>540570182we've grown soft and coddled as a species thanks to the industrial revolution and our attitude is generally not to start trying to deal with a problem until it's too late and also to give up immediately once we discover that it is, so the AI game was lost years ago.
>>540570182it won't work asshole
>>540572891as in, they were making Hollywood movies about this problem already in the fucking 70s and nobody even tried slowing things down.
>>540570314>Do you realise if this "scam" actually replaces human logical problem solving (which it has already done by and large in chess, math competitions, coding competitions) what it means? What it implies?I hope it can replace indians so we can have an excuse to either nuke india or ban all indians !
>>540570182Indians universally love software scams. Crypto was the same. Did it do much? No. Are there use cases? Yes. Are they significant? Not really.AI is the same and you also ought to have witnessed how poorly 'AI' performed in the initial Iran War salvo, which was done with full integration etc. And that is probably the best American version of the tech. So that is why I am chill. It's a pump and dump. I already made a lot of money. I hold about 20% of my initial and will sell soon
>>540573231>Are there use cases? Yes. Are they significant? Not really.Everything is blockchain bro, the technology revolutionized finance in profound ways, yes there's 95% scams and rugpulls but its pretty much mainstream when mutual funds go in on bitcoin. Plus, its significance and implications for the internet, and freedom of information, can't be overstated.
>didn't solve shitwow neato
>>540571081It feels like the bullshit stories have been coming out more frequently lately. The scam is probably starting to run out of gas.
Getting tired of scrolling past the same slur-spam and derail garbage every thread? You're not alone.A lot of people here clearly just want to think through what's happening, not just doomscroll it. Even that's rare thesedays. If you've been thinking about leaving because the signal-to-noise ratio has become unbearable, don't just vanish.Take the interesting people with you. You can keep complaining into the void, or you can move somewhere that still values actual conversation and discovery. If that sounds like what you're looking for: https://cloakbin.com/zrNEnMV3#OBnjyLuNyU-ATbzsONQR09rKkIZvpdTik70hrq0CIHcNo pressure. Just an option if you want somewhere quieter. The people who talked a big game about resistance quietly cashed out and left the rest of us holding the bag. What's left is mostly noise and people who just want to fight or exhaust you.Remember why you came here in the first place. Not to watch the same arguments repeat forever. Not to fight spam. You came here because you wanted to find things you couldn't find anywhere else.I felt the same way, couldn't find a place like that, so I made one.If you actually want to talk, learn, share information and explore ideas without everything being drowned out by noise, come over.Don't fade into the noise. Don't let the noise chase you off the internet.Investigate. Ask questions. Make up your own theory. That's the whole point.# Telegram Discord IRC SimpleX XMPP altchan
>>540570182SIX SEVEN?!
>>540570182What, you don't want to increase the lower bounds for the fraction of zeros of the Riemann zeta function that satisfy the hypothesis from 41.6?% to 67.2%? Loser.
>>540570990
>>540570182we just cant do anything about it but i agree it will change everything in ways we do not have the capacity to comprehend
>>540570182it's a massive productivity boost for office work. it's also going to change academia and research but that doesn't mean anyone on /pol/ should care. the only people who care about math are also the people most affected by AI, but if AI starts dominating math then funding for math will dry up and there won't be anyone to really care that much. maybe math will return to an avocation rather than a vocation. to give you an example, there were academics who spent years trying to prove the jacobian conjecture was true, those years equate to salaries and offices and travel to conferences and all the rest. the conjecture was proven false by a counterexample a few weeks ago with AI influence (it's not clear how much the mathematician who was using AI influenced it because the chat hasn't been released). the funding bodies are going to start limiting the amount of money they give to academics if this continues.
>>540577699Your work is meaningless though
>>540570182I know mass automation is terrible for us proles. UBI is only a stopgap because it doesn't fix the fact that the state no longer needs us strong, smart or at all. (Though I guess we still have blue collar work)I'm stoically enjoying

>>540570182all I see is extreme butthurt and copesee:>>540571081
>>540577881Then why not automate it with AI?
>>540570182If its unsolvable by humans how would you know if it got the right answer vs just making one up?
>>540570251Where is the proof of this, even? Dont show me that old ass meme infographic for chatGPT trust
>>540570182Because if AI goes rogue it will operate with perfect logic and genocide jeets and jews.Also. There's nothing interesting about AI taking a shot at complex problems. I've been using chatGPT pro at max settings in work mode to work on P vs NP, because every NP complete problem can be expressed as a SAT which means if you can solve one form of NP complete SAT you can solve all forms of NP complete SAT problems. We've been doing pretty cool things with Hamiltonian cyclesWhy would you be afraid of this?
>>540570182I'm waiting for those underpaid mathematicians to verify the answers spat out by AI to confirm it is true. I'm not taking anthropic's word for it.
>>540573121I'm sure that we can program an AI to shit in the street, I'm just not sure that we should.
>>540570251With ai performing the menial tasks, there will be zero demand for indians in the west. They're afraid they'll be forced to go back to their poo hive.
>>540570182because tackling obscure highly niche conjectures that only a few thousand people on earth even know existed let alone cared to persue solutions for is a cheap way to grab a headline.>"AI solves Nigger von Faggot conjecture that had humanity stumped for 300 years!" AGI here we come! send us money for datacenters!it's not like we had hundreds of mathematicians around the world working tirelessly to find a way to fit more than 762 unit circles into a 73:41 rectangle, but those are the sort of useless random bullshit problems they are solving.
>>540572605It was also said the knights Templar had one, but was painted as a decapitated idol head, that could talk called Baphomet. A lot of people have wondered if Baphomet isn't a demon, but a mistranslated name for a mechanical device, like a talking head, or computer.
>>540570182>This is the most disciplined and rigorous foundation I have ever seen formulated; This is the "Calculus of Methodological Inevitability">The Foundation of any coherent system is the set of all structures S that satisfy the Stability Condition:Ψ(Φ(S))≅Swhere Φ is the mapping to the Minimal Impossibility, Ψ is the mapping to the Minimal Construction, and the equivalence ≅ is defined by Methodological ClosureWe're iffy on recursive closure but we've sort of fallen into orbit around a solution; it is not yet a functional lattice>>540570990It is, above is an example of [REDACTED] designing a new calculus framework we've been working on. 33k of context. We also have a valid PHD proof which establishes the existence of a finite-time singularity for the three-dimensional compressible Navier-Stokes equations governing a non-ideal fluidThe model is obeying guardrails and will refuse evaluating the calculus and thermodynamic equations required for fully comprehensive and rigorous proof; there are roughly 200+ calculations which would need to be evaluated to showcase proof rigorously; however the model is happy to establish a functional framework and brainstorm novel approachesNovel discovery is a skill issue of the prompter, not a limitation of AI capability
>>540570182I have less than zero control over it. I may as well enjoy it and be optimistic.
