It’s about the lack of money. Neither my wife’s family or my own mentioned us wanting to have children. Neither of them offered a single ounce of support, so we didn’t have them. Even in our 40’s being debt free we aren’t financially independent or have enough wealth to support ourselves let alone multiple children. Society from the top down is clearly disenfranchising the nuclear family. TPTB don’t want people having children, or else they wouldn’t penalize those that do. I can’t imagine working until I’m dead so I can afford to never enjoy my family, what’s the point? There’s no special magic mutation any one person has.
