It was also normal that everyone was poor until their mid to late 20s. People were simply poor together and had a common perspective they were dreaming about and working on. Up until around a decade ago it was normal to finish highschool at age 15-16 and then go for a vocational training. At least in German speaking countries and I'm sure Poland had a similar system. This was when young ppl entered the workforce light, earned their first money, got used to an 8 hour workday and got a proper expert qualification with lot's of practice and a basic amount of theory . This was the normal path for 80% of young people. Side-effect was that they were hanging out with lot's of grown-ups who had more experience in life and leading them.This shift only set in with the Bologna reform in 2002, when the EU's educational standards were streamlined and turned into Communist bullshit. They changed this in favor of more school, made school more theoretical, extended school duration for everyone by at least 2 years and then replaced the vocational training with the theoretical bachelor "university" degree (fun fact bachelor translates to Geselle in German). This means nowadays half of young people are kept in the state of being a child until their early 20s. The obvious consequence is that they remain incompetent for much longer and have no idea how the adult world works, because they only have contact with peers and retarded teachers.In conclusion: Young people are still able to act as grown ups (why wouldn't they), but they have to ignore what the system is telling them and chose a lifestyle for themselves, which was the standard before the invention of the (sic!) iphone. Then they will be systematically exposed to the real world in healthy dosages and can learn to become competent adults.
