They think it's some sort of huge revelation to say that Hitler was a Socialist. His movement was literally called National Socialism it's hardly a fucking secret. All they are doing is pointing out that Capitalism is anti White and Socialism is better. Retards.
>>
So let's clarify.

At that time, Germany was about to fall to communism. All of Eastern Europe just fell to communism, and Germany was next. They were rapidly rising in the elections, they were sweeping the country. The nazi strategy was to switch those communists over to be nationalists, so they adopted a lot of socialist branding. This was simply their election strategy.

To them, socialism wasn't some government-run economic system. It was more like "community spirit". Everyone, rich and poor, all puts their shoulder to the wheel for the community. The goal being a united germany. It was a lot more communitarian, and it wasn't about punishing the rich but about doing what's best for the nation.

Now typically jews will dominate finance, media, and much of academia....etc. But whites will dominate industry and manufacturing. Hence the commies usually employed a conspiracy of media and financial influences, while the nazis were partnering up with big industry. Their partnership with industry may have been less about ideological capitalism, and more about a simple strategy to gain a coalition to win. That said, they were indeed pro business guys. The primary lens they looked at business was "does this benefit the german people" not "how can we punish those rich people I hate them reee"

Truman spent the last days of the war trying to rewrite history to pretend Nazis were a magical new branch of the right wing called "reactionaries," to hide the fact the Democrats called Hitler an 'economic miracle worker" who saved Weimar from the Great Depression up until 1938 when everyone realized where the Nazi gold was really coming from
hid it even more thoroughly than FDR's wheelchair, too bad for them rewriting history doesn't change the past
>>
>>540590792
your timeline is backwards
all continental Europe was taken over by Nazis until after the invasion of Normandy
Stalin didn't enter Eastern Europe until weeks later, only after the beachhead was established, because he was no dumbass willing to commit his last reserves to a hammer and anvil strategy until he was sure there would be an anvil to hammer
even the Eastern European takeover wasn't formalized until PM Winston Churchill was removed from office for earning about the Iron Curtain about to descend

You can't have affordable healthcare or you'd be Hitler. Most of you probably aren't old enough to remember when public schools provided apples and milk free to primary students. I think it was Malcom Fraser that put an end to that (1975 in Australia). Of course Elon thinks that, Capitalism is what made him rich.

Hitler, while using worker rights talking point to earn votes, did almost the opposite when the nazi party went into power. >what's wrong with giving your government extreme finincial incentive to kill you

That's not an entirely accurate portrayal of the situation. The strength through joy program was a massive undertaking where the government provided massive subsidies for worker vacations, cruises, concerts, theater and sporting event tickets, outdoor excursions, worker education programs, and invested massively in recreation areas to support that. The program had one in six Germans participating by 1938. Then there was the beauty of labor program which pressured those factories and businesses to massively improve worker conditions around things like safety, bathrooms, cafeterias, even workplace rest/recreation areas which could be used while on breaks. The huge public works projects they undertook and the major reform of the currency system (attaching currency to German labor hours and funneling workers into the most beneficial sectors of the economy via better pay) took unemployment from 30% to essentially 0%. You could argue that's a giant boon for the corporations, but from 1933 to 1939, real (adjusted with inflation) household earnings rose over 20%!

Unionization was replaced with the German Labor Front, and collective bargaining took place between the government and companies directly via labor trustees that represented the interests of the German worker. Through this, the government imposed profit sharing rules on almost every major company, expanded a large pensioner/welfare program, took over several businesses directly (even in the pre-war era), etc. The difference is that since they weren't a Marxist driven socialist nation bent on punishing capitalism but rather a 3rd position stance, they didn't take steps towards nationalizing every industry or abolishing private ownership/property. It was a brand of socialism which was actually successful because it wasn't crushing labor in favor of corporations and wasn't punishing corporations or successful people at the expense of labor.
>>
>>540594099
They might not have been capitalist in a more traditional sense, but they did sell of public companies to become private entities. But at the same time, companies had to follow what the government told them in terms of production and such. But they weren't exactly socialists but they also didn't have a free market like we have today.

Yes, Elon musk is a CIA cutout. he was tapped while at Stanford, and then dropped out to go get acting coaching in Hollyjew.

They were hoping to prop him up as an ideologue to recruit Spaceforce personnel, but they botched that with too many spacefluencers and cringe "you're not white if you don't love space elevators" threads.

Instead, they used him to launder money into the twitter white elephant while scraping it's user data for dissident network connections (you all ran and signed up, completely falling for this btw) and next they will turn X into the equivalent of WeChat (which is the absolute crux of chinas social credit system), with banking (and debanking), positioning it to be a requirement for every societal function including schooling and employment.

Meanwhile the NSA has sidechannels on the entire Starlink network so they can use it as a listening system worldwide, and the REAL purpose of SpaceX has absolutely nothing to do with going to Mars or the Moon. SpaceX re-entry vehicles are for fast global troop and weapon deployments.

And lastly, Tesla was about tracking and eventually restricting all vehicular travel via Freedom Cities. The Jews controlled Musk by promising him the world, and witches like grimes had him hypnotized and high off all their promises.

at this point, Musk might as well be a Beta Sex Kitten for STEM autists and H1Bindians.
>>
>>540593996
What a huge leap of logic.
>>
>>540594448
Right, it's really not like anything that was instituted in a major industrialized nation before or since. I'd say it leaned heavily towards socialism in it's policies towards workers. Their government cared quite a bit about their health, wages, working conditions, pensions and access to recreation time. They also valued innovation and flexibility offered by private ownership of corporations and developed this sort of top down system where both labor and ownership were directed by the state.

Ironically, I think it's actually the only form of quasi-socialism that actually works, but you need the foundational philosophies guiding the government to be nationalist, traditionalist, right wing, whatever because without that you allow the instrument directing both labor and business ownership to fall into the hands of multi-culturalist degenerates who don't care for their own people, or profiteering jew-types who will exploit anyone and anything to make money.

>Isn’t this cunt a Trillionaire. How is he so retarded
He's a political entrepreneur, not a market entrepreneur. Hitler was not a socialist. The nazis rejected the entire concept of class struggle, which is the core idea of socialism.

a sea horse is not a horse

national socialism is not socialism
>>
>>540593074
The national socialists were socialists, just a different flavor of it than the Marxist brand. Socialism is distinct from capitalism in that it involves the systematic violation of private property rights by the state. So while the national socialists did allow ostensibly private ownership of the means of production, they were quite strict about enforcing the government's will on those supposed owners. It was the same program but pursued by different means.

You do know that Nordic countries standards of living were rising faster for all classes prior to the implementation of the welfare system than after it right? The difference is actually more pronounced for the lower classes than the upper classes. The Nordic countries adherence to free market economics were also why they weathered the Great Depression better than most other countries, which pursued much more strongly interventionist policies to try to fix it.

Yes, but you're obviously aware of the Achilles heel of such a system. Having a large socialist system depends heavily on having a homogenous population who all agree on what the system is for and how it should be used. If you don't breed enough of your own people or allow retarded social concepts from the left to seep into your public consciousness and people start saying we should import people who are not at all congruent with our society, you'll wind up with what you have, a growing subset of your population who are retarded low IQ nigger-apes from Africa that don't responsibly participate in the Swedish socialist system but instead are there merely to pilfer it.

In the United States for example, I've heard my whole life the left/socialists point to the Scandinavian countries as an example of socialism working, as an argument to implement the same systems here. In this hellscape of disjointed cultural beliefs/practices where from 1964 onward we've imported more and more of the 3rd world, such government programs are destined to be gigantic money wasting failures. The reason the NSDAP systems worked is because it was one united people group ethnically culturally, and I think you'll find that as Sweden gets less Swedish, the programs that you have come to admire and believe are correct will falter tremendously under the strain of retarded outsiders who ruin everything.

Public figures say retarded things that appeal to retarded people because that's more effective than providing insight or nuance to a potentially hostile audience that might misrepresent your point.

When he makes a post like this, nobody questions what side he's on. Nobody's gonna misrepresent what message he's trying to get across. What team he's coming to batt for is not in question.

It might make him sound stupid, but he's not interested in convincing you he's smart. It would be retarded for him to try.
Had he provided a more "intelligent" take about how Hitler's socialism differs from modern leftist socialism, the left would spin that as him defending Hitler and the right would spin it as him defending socialism. It would instantly become and upgill battle to clarify what his intentions were and nobody would listen to him anyway. Only a dumbass would put themselves in that position if they were already as famous and contentious as Elon Musk.
>>
>>540595572
>But that doesn't really mean much if it's about going from having extremely poor living standards to have decent.
Yes it does. It means that capitalism was better at improving standards of living than the current system of half assed socialism/capitalism you've got.
>>540595615
>There was also technological and industrial advancements at the time.
Those technological and industrial advancements were the product of the end of the mercantilist systems which crushed innovation to keep the existing elites on top. It would have been impossible to create textile factories if the guilds were allowed to say no. It is completely inappropriate to divorce the benefits of the industrial revolution from the economic situation from which it emerged. Capitalism caused the improved standards of living, it wasn't an accident that the two coincided and then standards of living immediately stopped improving as rapidly when the progressive era and new deal led to greater government intervention in the economy.
>It's not like free healthcare put an end to it.
My whole point is that it's not free. You're paying for it with the loss of the prosperity you would have had in a truly free market. Which would also have included better healthcare than you currently have.

That's a major source of confusion. People think National Socialism just simply nationalism + socialism, which it isn't.
People on the internet can't even agree on what Socialism is.

Some people think Socialism = free education and free healthcare
Some people think Socialism = Scandinavia
Some people think Socialism = Communism
Some people think Socialism = Totalitarianism
Some people think it's all of the above and more.

>>540596059
It's a good point, most people cannot agree on the definition of "socialism". I was going to say "in online discourse" at the end of that statement but I thought about it for a second, and really it's anywhere.

>the government wants me to pay for a vehicle safety inspection?! THIS IS SOCIALISM!
>the government says that I can't own a komodo dragon in my house?? THIS IS SOCIALISM!
>the government is telling me to do anything at all? SOCIALISM!

I think broadly if we're talking about socialism as an economic system with top-down government controls over corporations, labor, prices, and perhaps some other aspects, we could probably get most people to agree that those are all aspects of it, but what is the line between that and a more authoritarian system like you would find under Marxist-Communism, and where does "socialism" begin? If you don't allow corporations to dump industrial waste in the local river, is that "socialism"? I'm asking that rhetorically of course, to some people the answer to that question is yes, which makes discourse on other topics impossible. It really is a topic that's hard to get a shared understanding of terms where people constantly talk past each other.

Hoppe's definition from "A Theory of Socialism and Capitalism" really is the best definition of socialism as distinct from capitalism.
>socialism, by no means an invention of nineteenth century Marxism but much older, must be conceptualized as an institutionalized interference with or aggression against private property and private property claims. Capitalism, on the other hand, is a social system based on the explicit recognition of private property and of nonaggressive, contractual exchanges between private property owners

By getting fucked in the ass by big pharma and insurance? I thank god every day I don't have to deal with that shit. Yet we do have private options as well.
We've always been capitalist. Welfare is just a question of what to spend tax payer/oil fund money on. It doesn't have to interfere with the free market.
>>
>>540596407
If we apply that to my example however, where does the line fall. A corporation is dumping industrial waste into the river their plant backs up to. They have access to the river, but they do not explicitly own the river. The people downstream don't own the river either, but they use the river as it is a public resource. If you prevent the company from doing what they want on their property, by your definition you are now "socialist" as a government, but if you allow them to do whatever you want they will poison a public resource and deny it's safe use to everyone else. I mean, under that definition basically any form of government is socialist, right? They're going to prevent people from doing certain things with their own private property.
>>

Yeah, the whole affair was pretty stupid. The US implemented a totalitarian bureaucracy at home ostensibly to fight totalitarianism abroad, and then spend the better part of a century propping up dictators around the world and building an empire which didn't benefit us.
>>540596600
>getting fucked in the ass by big pharma and insurance?
The US doesn't have a free market in healthcare, in spite of what is typically claimed. We have a heavily regulated market which is specifically designed to protect a cartel from competition which would drive down prices. America is not a purely capitalist country, in fact in many ways it has less economic freedom than the Scandinavian countries. When those economic freedom scores come out Scandinavian countries are always dragged way down by their welfare states, but in terms of market freedom they are far freer than the US.
>I thank god every day I don't have to deal with that shit
I'm not advocating for what America does, I'm not retarded. I'm advocating for a genuinely free market. No government enforcement of cartels, no patents, no government licensing of doctors even. Definitely no government mandates people must do business with the cartel of health insurance companies.
>Yet we do have private options as well
Which are also better than in the US, so you clearly don't need socialism to have good healthcare.
>We've always been capitalist
I envy that, I really do.
>Welfare is just a question of what to spend tax payer/oil fund money on
You could just cut taxes so people have more money to spend on healthcare if they want to, or to employ more workers so that more people can afford healthcare without socialism.

everything example you gave was socialism.
>A corporation is dumping industrial waste into the river their plant backs up to
That's a civil tort, it's not socialism to defend your property from someone dumping pollution on it.
>If you prevent the company from doing what they want on their property, by your definition you are now "socialist" as a government
Indeed, but the moment they start doing things which impact your property, then it's no longer about what they're doing on their property. You're preventing them from doing what they want to *your* property.
>I mean, under that definition basically any form of government is socialist, right?
Right, Hoppe is an anarchist. The next sentence points out that all modern societies are socialist to some degree.
>>540596991
>sorry for being confrontational.
Why? I thought we were having an interesting discussion.
>I agree that the rise in living standards comes from capitalism
It's pretty rare to hear someone from Scandinavia deny that. It's usually Americans who don't know anything about Scandinavia who think that Scandinavian socialism caused their prosperity.
>I don't agree that we're "missing out" because women get maternity leave, and I get "free" healthcare and education
It's really impossible to know what the opportunity cost of all the socialism was. We do know though that whatever it was, it would have been what people chose willingly instead of being compelled to do by the government. So by definition it would have been more desirable to those people. Given that Scandinavian taxes are pretty darn high, something like 50% all told from what I've read, depending on the country of course, that's a lot of things forgone for supposedly free healthcare and education. Half of everything from everyone. Also maternity leave is one of those things companies offer to attract employees without raising salaries, you'd get that anyway.

>That's a civil tort, it's not socialism to defend your property from someone dumping pollution on it.
No, the river is public land and nobody owns it in this case. The people who use the river downstream don't own it, but it has been ruined by the company upstream making it a poisoned mess (killing fishing, making it undrinkable, swimmable, whatever). So it's not that the company is infringing on the property rights of individuals, but the collectivized access to a resource.
>Indeed, but the moment they start doing things which impact your property, then it's no longer about what they're doing on their property. You're preventing them from doing what they want to *your* property.
I and other don't own the river, and neither does the company.
>Right, Hoppe is an anarchist. The next sentence points out that all modern societies are socialist to some degree.
Anarcho Capitalism is therefore the only form of capitalism which exists, and everything else that you or someone else might consider capitalism is in fact a socialist nightmare? So like, the wild west which was governed by the United States where there were effectively no controls over anybody doing anything yet a government which could do something actually existed and there was not a true state of anarchy was not capitalist but instead was a socialist economy and government in that time period by your logic/definition.

Like I said. Giving a poor person 1 kr and say it improved their living standard and giving credit solely to capitalism doesn't say much. I'm not saying capitalism didn't improve. But saying welfare system ruined it is a bit weird. Majority of Sweden had become working to middle class at that point. I'd say Sweden not becoming hyper capitalist like USA is a good thing, since USA only has debt at this point.

You're injecting the tragedy of the commons and a host of other public goods theory problems which capitalism avoids by simply not having public property at all. Moreover even if we were to for a moment accept the notion that the river is unowned, a person owns their own body, and the power plant which dumps pollutants into the river is therefore violating people's property rights when that pollution enters their bodies.
>Anarcho Capitalism is therefore the only form of capitalism which exists, and everything else that you or someone else might consider capitalism is in fact a socialist nightmare?
incorrect, it's the only form of pure capitalism, all other forms of capitalism are only partially capitalist.

>Giving a poor person 1 kr and say it improved their living standard and giving credit solely to capitalism doesn't say much.
If someone is so poor that they only pay 1kr in taxes then they probably would have their living standard substantially improved by that extra krone. But the benefits of capitalism stretch far beyond that. They aren't the only ones who have more available resources, everyone is, so everyone can afford to buy more and every employer can afford to employ more people for higher wages. So that 1 kr might not be much benefit at first, but the benefits of reducing the state's interference in the market are immense. I give the credit solely to capitalism because the state doesn't actually produce anything, it just taxes wealth which was generated by capitalism and redistributes it less efficiently.

>saying welfare system ruined it is a bit weird.
Socialism in general is damaging your economy, the fact that it's spent on welfare instead of a global empire is definitely better than what the US does, but that doesn't mean that the money going to the welfare state wouldn't be better spent by the people it is taxed from.
>I'd say Sweden not becoming hyper capitalist like USA is a good thing,
aside from the welfare system, Sweden is more capitalist than the US. It's far easier to start a business and business is far less regulated in Sweden than the US.
>since USA only has debt at this point.
The US is so deeply in debt because the US government prints money and gives most of that money to welfare parasites like the military industrial complex. The debt isn't caused by capitalism, quite the opposite. American socialism just takes the form of a brutal global empire. I'd prefer it be wasted on healthcare instead, but more than either I'd just want America to return to capitalism.

It is easier because the government helps out people who wants to start a new business.

Hell, the system allows you to leave work for like 6 months and start your own business without losing your employment. It's an actual law. You just don't get salary and then you go back to work if it doesn't work out.
>The US is so deeply in debt because the US government prints money and gives most of that money to welfare parasites like the military industrial complex
I completely agree.

Yes, given that he got there by being a welfare queen.

over here it takes like 6 months just to apply for a business license.

While I'm no fan of socialism or regulations, that's a hell of a lot better than the American government's habit of using regulations to limit the number of companies which can compete in a market. The US isn't so much capitalist as it is mercantilist at this point, at least in a lot of industries.
>I completely agree.
Yeah, my argument isn't for American style socialism/mercantilism/corporatism/fascism/whatever the hell our economic system really is. So when you argue that the US ain't great either, I completely agree, I am not saying the US is better or that Sweden should copy the US, I'm saying that Sweden could be even better than it already is. I'm sure that you will at least admit that the Swedish welfare state isn't very efficient and discourages poor people from entering the workforce. I'm personally of the opinion that given how popular the welfare state is in Sweden, Swedes probably would spend quite generously on charity if they weren't already paying for the massive welfare state, and private charities would be more efficient since they would have limits to what they could spend that would be far tighter than what the government does.
