The slop is fucking disgusting. This is why I hate AI.It's dishonest, as most of the time AI text is passed as written by people (eg this book) and AI videos and images are passed as real. Even if you intentionally ask AI, its also dishonest in the sense that well written and sounds knowledgeable and its full of mistakes even when it "doesn't hallucinate". Dishonesty is already the most dislikeable and repulsive thing I can imagine.It's also cheap. AI content could be higher quality than the real thing and the fact that it takes no effort at all to generate already makes it shit. This one doesn't make a lot of sense but it's real, many people feel that way, and it kinda makes sense.It's also low quality as fuck. I'm sure that, scam aside, that book is just a lot of stupid blabber. There's something very important about text written by a person and its that it reflects someone's feelings, intentions, and the conclusions of his thoughts. Instead, AI text is an attempt at writing something similar to most texts about a topic. This one is subtle and I know low IQ people do not notice and are perfectly fine with it, but to me, the difference is immense and the imitation is just complete trash.

I've been trying to read newer sci-fi books and most of them read like a middle schooler wrote them, very stupid, very disjointed, very poor writing, and yes woke as fuck. The worst part is these books are often award winning and have many NPCs claiming it's their favorite book. I'm honestly at a lose to find a sci-fi book written in the last 20 years that isn't hot garbage and it's not AI's fault. Hugo winners, trash. Arthur C Clark winners, trash. It's just wall to wall slop made by pigs for pigs. I assume AI will just be in charge of the slop production now is the only difference.
