Russian FPV-spotter drone uses a thermite load to melt around a hundred Ukrainian ambush FPV-drones put on a road

Crazy shit xD
>>
Did it work, though?
>>
>>540637700
Yeah. Over hundred of drones melted on the road

Pretty cool. Does it only work on the road?
What if the drones were in the grass?
>>
>>540637614

they should test it on ukrindians next

In that case...
>>
>>540637893
Ukrainians actually began to use drones carrying thermite in 2024 but they were dropping it on Russian positions, not drones xD
>>
>>540637614
why don't they just send a self driving truck crush them?
>>
>>540638021
Any vehicle would be immobilized and destroyed by this swarm. Their sensors would detect movement that would wake them up
>>
If you want to know why this faggot russian nigger seethe thread exists, it's because Ukraine fucked up an entire convoy of russian faggots lined up alongside a road near the front along with their vehicles
>>
>>540637614
First cool vid you've posted. You're getting better at shilling btw, this is the first thread of yours that hasn't come off as blatant propaganda. I support Russia in this war, but the majority of your threads are off-putting because of how hard they lean into the propaganda
>>
>>540637712
Insane amount of drones. This war is so fucking gay man
>>
>>540638138
I never post propaganda, subhuman Mutt. This entire imageboard is fully taken over by judeomurrican disinfo/spam bots run by governmental agencies. I am here only to make your job a bit harder because i heard you get salary cuts because of my activity xD

Vid-rel is cool clip from yesterday from the Sumy region. Little FPV beast was sleeping in the idle mode near road just like these melted drones on my vid, but Humvee woke it up. The Humvee driver noticed the drone, and tried to turn around and escape but didnt manage. Both driver and vehicle probably killed by single FPV with 3kg explosive load.

>What if the drones were in the grass?

Putting ambush drones in grass is problematic because the grass covers their sensors. Ambush drones are usually installed on roads, rooftops etc
>>
>>540637614
That was me one evening in un baño in Mexico City a while back.
>>
>>540637842
thermite burns through anything. even grass
>>
>>540638715
Can't you just calibrate the sensor to ignore grass?
Use heat signature sensor instead.
But ideally, you want a camera+infrared camera + night vision camera working in 360 degree. With a mounted shotgun. Have quick calculations of wind and unload the cardridge into the drone. Can be just salt and your drone is dead.
You can reliably make a bot that always shines a laser into someone's eye, same principle.
>>
>>540638072
that would still be a cheap way trigger the drones
>>
>>540637949
They were mostly using it to clear trees I'm pretty sure. They didn't like Russians using treelines for cover, movement, and artillery/mortars. The drones themselves are pretty easy to shoot down. The only reason OP's drone wasn't shot down is because there were no soldiers to shoot it down.

I'm not sure how effective the drone actually was. I really only saw the thermite hit a few of them at most. I guess they could be using multiples.
>>
>>540637614
Is that Vinnie Putkh ? Lmao
>>
>>540638715
Grass may also catch and foul the rotors if it's long enough
>>
>>540637614
On a straight road a trawl net is viable
Some weights touching the ground, a net and just fly down the road to catch em
For me its shotguns with chainshot but nets would do
Thus is why PLA navy will win they have max illegal trawling in contested environment xp

Russian Geran attack drones have been fitted with an onboard electronic warfare system that jams the video feed of pursuing Ukrainian FPV interceptor drones. The jammer targets the operator’s video channel, cutting visual control mid-flight and making precise pursuit far harder, giving the Geranium a chance to escape. Unlike fixed ground-based EW, the system travels with the drone and acts at the point of engagement, adding mobile self-protection. Reports note this adaptation responds to the growing use of interceptor drones and marks a shift toward onboard countermeasures in the drone war.

the question is why someone from poland is cheering russia so much, if they occupied your country you would live in total misery, you would have no freedom, why not fight against them?

>>

I am not Poland so i cant answer your question. Next time ask Poland if you meet it why it must "fight Russia" as a neocolonial economic zone occupied by USrael/EU/BlackRock/Microsoft/Merck/Pfizer/Moderna etc. I have no reason to "fight Russia" in any scenario, especially now when i sold all my real estate in this shithole and just rent. xD

Before this war, Russia was a reliable business partner for us. Meanwhile Ukraine kept fucking around with their Hungarian minorities, stole our gas from the pipeline that goes through their territory and just before the war one of their military leaders claimed they would conquer half of Hungary in hours.
Russia does the world a favor with this war.

If just a small particle of burning termite hits the plastic propeller blades, it should work.
It doesn't need to destroy the whole thing, just deny their flight capabilites.

No, you can buy a flight operator seat remotely on the dark web and fly them one by one into targets.

>>
>>540646302
They should be, PD EW + short reaction time implies it
>>
>>540646302
They probably just notify the operator when they detect movement so the operator can manually use them. Or they work in combination with other detection systems, the reconnaissance drone detects a target and the strike drone is launched.

ukrops are literally playing videogames from my taxmoney funded appartments in berlin

well same for the rusniggers but at least im not paying them
>>
>>540646495

This kind of idea is literally propaganda designed to reassure people about the idea of going to war. “Don't worry you'll just be sitting at home killing orcs with drones on your computer”. In reality drone operators make up a minority and even they have to stay right near the battlefield waiting for the FAB
>>
I just hope both teams have fun :)

Ukrainians have confirmed wanting those and inviting a US startup to start working on them.
Just release them into the wild with a stripped down image recognizer working onboard and let them hit the first target they recognize.

But I think it's been put on the back burner since fibre optic drones proved to be viable at beating signal interference.
