This. I remember when I was a kid +30 years ago and everyone freaked out about solar eclipses like it was some grand special event that only happens every 100 years.

Meanwhile it actually happens regularly and is not even that rare - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_solar_eclipses_in_the_21st_century

Sure, but whether there's 80-90% coverage or 100% coverage doesn't really make that much of a difference. If you have already experienced the ones where everything goes dark, but not fully dark, there's not gonna be much difference experiencing a 100% coverage.

It's just gonna be like as if someone turned the sun off and it was night time for 5-10 minutes.

I had no idea there was going to be a solar eclipse, and I was outside. I’ve had psychological issues for a long time, if not since childhood, but I’m highly functional, so nobody really notices. For example, I find it difficult to listen to music while I’m outside, and to get my brain used to it, I’ve been listening to music while going for walks. As it happened, at that exact moment I was listening to Type O Negative’s “Wolf Moon” and I thought it was just my mind distorting reality again. It was incredibly bizarre, and I’m really glad I managed to make it home.
>>
>>540668203
Just like solar eclipses are not aliens blocking the sun, "viruses" are not magical pathogenic flying intracellular parasites. It's time for humanity to drop this superstitious behaviour and to look at the sun, the moon and the truth so to speak.

They're just copying people. They're taught that to have a good time that's what you do, so they do it. It's the same with the constant eating. They won't even be hungry but put a movie on and they'll come in with a pile of food.

I've asked people about this, and the older they are the stupider they think it is. They said you'd never see someone walking around with a bottle, tin, cup etc. If they went to the park they'd just take one bottle between them all (I appreciate that change though).

>no need to put it in a bottle
Yes there is. it means I don't have to go to the kitchen every time I get thirsty and stick my head under the tap like a glassless, bottleless pleb. I can fill it up and fill it with ice and that will keep me going for a day, or two bottles if im doing a days work so I can bring it along with me. The utility of a bottle is not consumerism unless you are collecting heckin rare designer premium funkobotties

Welp, I'm missed this entirely despite trying to enjoy the astronomical phenomenon.
But perhaps this is a good sign.
If nothing happens for oncoming days indeed:
>Nothing ever happens
And thus seems the (((elites))) plan to release super-ebola to cull us all was cancelled as it was forspoken to me once by very believable anon years ago.

You should still though and infact use this time frame to learn astral projection and reality shifting since
>nothing ever happens
in steady downward spiral of misery as we experience it with things getting worse and worse in barely noticible manner yet nothing ever will get better so seriously just try to make
>something
happen for yourselves which this will allow...

Walking around with bottles of water has only started happening in Britain for less than 20 years . . . how on earth did we survive before then?

>walking around with
You set it down somewhere. Like your room. Or on some rushes or on a barbed wire fence as you go about your day, or keep it in the car if you are travelling so you can always get a drink easy.
If you mean buying a plastic bottle from a spar then that's legitimate if you are choking for a drink in public and there's no where to get a drink
>how on earth did we survive before then?
By stopping by a pub or a place or literally anywhere that would give you glass of water for free. They don't do that anymore
I know i'd rather have my water bottle than not have it when i'm thirsty, that's for sure. it's either that or buying literal water which is ironically consumerism, or suffering dehydration
>>

Yes this is true. I saw the partial solar eclipse in 2017 and it was pretty cool. But I was in the path of totality for the 4/8/25 (I think that was the date) and it was amazing. Would love to see another but I will die before there is another where I live. In my opinion it's not overhyped at all. Its beautiful and worth seeing.
My CAPTCHA was two suns and a crescent moon.

>I have problems so fucked up it it would doxx me

Anyway I hope there is a solution with a happy ending waiting for you

Just get a decent bottle/flask and fill it up and you don't have to buy water. That's what i do

It is important to drink water. Especially when you are working. Take that silly notion out of your head that drinking water from bottles is consumerism. A bottle/flask is a tool, and a valuable one. it isn't good to go without water out of some retarded pride
>>
>>540670024
You Zoomers are just so gullible to trends and fashions, 20 years ago NOBODY carried water bottles, NOBODY bought water from a shop and NOBODY died of dehydration.

Like I said before buying bottles of water from a shop in Britain was just laughable only 25 years ago, the only time you ever bought bottled water was if you went abroad, to a crappy country.

It's been drilled into that you need to carry water and drink it every 10 minutes and you kids believe it.

>this tard thinks people carry bottles of water around with them everywhere
>thinks people sip water every 10 minutes
>thinks bottles of water is a fashion trend
I think you're confused, grampa

When people are thirsty, they drink when ever they can get it. It's that simple. And if you're smart, you buy a proper bottle or flask and fill it and bring it with you so you are not extorted for water. That doesn't mean you are carrying it around all day. The fuck? kek. How are you supposed to do anything carrying a bottle around? That's just annoying

What you are likely seeing is someone didn't think a head, was choking for a drink and had to buy water, and they just hadn't finished it yet. They are not carrying it as a "trend" lol
The fuck
The dementia must be setting in or something, idk, But every man 30 years ago brought a flask or bottle with them to work along with their lunch. It wasn't a "trend" it was practical. If they didn't, it's because their workplace provided them with water. And if you were out all day out of work, as I said plenty of places would give you a glass of water for free. Only pubs do that now. Everywhere else, you have to buy the water. It wasn't zoomers who started buying water, it was Millennials. They were extorted

Sunnwith a bite out of it that slowly moves.
More interesting is the effect on ambient lighting as it is nothing like a sunset or darkening storm.
88/100, would recommend.

It was pretty cool and my first solar eclipse but you almost wouldn't know it happened without eclipse glasses or a pinhole or camera obscura

it only got to 90% where I was and apparently the human eye adapts and basically tricks you thinking the sun is barely obscured at all like cloud cover-tier so I'm sure many people didn't even notice if they hadn't heard about it other than seeing crowds of people and tourists staring at the sun

would love to see a total solar eclipse someday and pack a telescope with filter to really see it well
