Seriously, what happened to Russia?

They used to be a real proper nation with science and shit and space stations and nuclear reactors, how did they descend to the level of Brazil? How did they become so utter shit?

Name 1 nation that hasn't become utter shit?

The industry was diversified between republics to create engineering workplaces. When you make a plane you so steelwork in Kazachstan, engine in Ukraine, electronics in baltics and so on, and assemble in Kirgizstan. Unfortunately nobody thought about it during the break up. So after 10 years of economic advisory drop US in 90s that led to two defaults and criminal
privatisation, Russia started from literally zero.

faggots are so pathetic that all globohomo had to do is tell its writers to talk shit about Russia, and here we are with millions of retards hating Russia, because globohomo told them to hate Russia
>>

Went to shit after the fall of the USSR. Dumbass.

>>540674863
Imagine honestly listening to the "advice" of your fucking geopolitical enemies. Fucking retards. Communism really ruined their brains and ability to think. It creates the perfect NPC.

Soviet people were actually very naive, absolutely not used to view the world as a market. For example it was considered a shame to sell something with a margin, speculating was a crime and socially despised. Concepts like marketing or advertisements are completely unknown.

I've heard they practically only had STEM in school. No real education about culture or humanities. I guess it makes sense tho, since communism doesn't care about culture. The result is morons like Gorbachev and Yeltsin.

>culture and humanities
like what? There were all kind of faculties. The problem was that everything was full of bureaucracy that consumed alot of work. Nowdays it is called “compliance” in the west. Even if you are writing your thesis on organic chemistry you need a chapter there how it benefits marxism leninism. Nobody took it seriously and eveeyone made fun, but everyone did, because it was required. It is similar to sustainability now in EU. Guess what kind of thing you need to put in the scenario to get the EU grant for a movie? The same was in USSR but probably in a more severe form.

they couldn't steal tech anymore.
look at their weapons in ukraine.
they're literally bought from aliexpress and temu.

Retard, every course was full of political propaganda

All the smart people either emigrated or died. So there was nobody to pass on knowledge to the next generation. It’s kinda like how quality of coins and statues declined in the Roman Empire after the crisis of the 3rd Century. A lot of the craftsmen died without teaching new craftsmen
>>
>>540676481
obviously, because there were like 20 beurocrats with alot of free time for one professor, and you know how they like to regulate things they don’t understand

Have you heard about perestroika and the dissolution of the Soviet Union? Have you ever opened a history book at all?

Also, nuclear reactors is one of the few technologies that Russia (still) leads the world in

Getting tired of scrolling past the same slur-spam and derail garbage every thread? You're not alone.
A lot of people here clearly just want to think through what's happening, not just doomscroll it. Even that's rare thesedays.
If you've been thinking about leaving because the signal-to-noise ratio has become unbearable, don't just vanish.
Take the interesting people with you.
You can keep complaining into the void, or you can move somewhere that still values actual conversation and discovery.
If that sounds like what you're looking for: https://cloakbin.com/zrNEnMV3#OBnjyLuNyU-ATbzsONQR09rKkIZvpdTik70hrq0CIHc
No pressure. Just an option if you want somewhere quieter.
The people who talked a big game about resistance quietly cashed out and left the rest of us holding the bag. What's left is mostly noise and people who just want to fight or exhaust you.
Remember why you came here in the first place. Not to watch the same arguments repeat forever. Not to fight spam. You came here because you wanted to find things you couldn't find anywhere else.
I felt the same way, couldn't find a place like that, so I made one.
If you actually want to talk, learn, share information and explore ideas without everything being drowned out by noise, come over.
Don't fade into the noise
Don't let the noise chase you off the internet.
Investigate. Ask questions. Make up your own theory. That's the whole point
