What's the point in making 100k a year if you spend maybe 2 hours awake at home everyday. Go to sleep and do it all again the next day. Oh you get the weekend off? So you technically get one full day of "freedom" before you have to get your ass in that van at 5am so you can drive 2 hours, work 8 - 10 hours and drive another 2 hours back home. What's the point? It's harder to get into a trade than it is getting into an Ivy League college specifically because of memes like this and AI. Trade niggers do not seem to understand that. I applied to both non union and union apprenticeships and both said no. I've been treated with more respect applying to 200k managerial positions and high paying design jobs than I ever have trying to get into trades. How people get trade jobs I don't know but I have been able to get closer to every other job on earth than trying to learn a trade or even do trade work for cheap pay.

I make a decent bit over the median for my area and never have to work a second of overtime. 99% of my time is unsupervised in new constructions so I just put my headphones on and listen to music while I go through the motions. Having a life outside of work is far more important to me than gross income so it works out great for me. Mexicans don't get into plumbing and electric. They do roofing, flooring, drywalling, etc. Trades that require licenses are safe from immigrant competition here.
