I tried sucking it up a few times to give it a chance and they always start seething when I bring up something they disagree with. Also everyone is a loser now. Either broke or an as social incel if now, and of course non of them puts in any effort other than complaining and developing radical ideas mainly for attention.The worst part of this is that everyone is just going to keep pretending like its anything but the fact they are online 8+ hours a day. Its impossible talking to people who are complaining about life since they seeth at any suggestion.

And we used to just hang out and talk about shit, like science and philosophy and whatever. When they became "adults" they genuinely got verbally annoyed at talking about random scientific concepts and instead just wanted to talk about shit like what luxury whiskey brand was the best or how to interior decorate their new homes. I have nothing wrong with talking about normie shit like that inherently but the outright refusal to discuss anything outside of the most pedestrian topics imaginable in a group that used to literally sit a basement smoking weed and coming up with weird concepts to discuss was baffling to witness. (And no they didn't stop smoking weed, so that wasn't the cause)
