Everything in society is built around 90-100s. Including schooling. I've put on the minimum effort possible until Uni where the volume of data was so big that I couldn't do my "learn the night before strategy". I've played league and WoW for an entire semester in my third year and had like 1 hard signals exams, the rest hard ones were coding (which I was decent at). When I realized that I can't understand that complex signal class because I skipped other courses too and for their exams I learned the bare minimum reality hit me like a brick. I took like 3 Modafinils over that day, drank 2L of monster and went through all courses and seminars, finished the last one at 7 AM and went directly to the exam. Passed with a 7/10 (and I was lucky because it was an averagely difficult test) and I crashed so bad when I went back to the dorm that I slept like 24h. That was my realization that my intelligence is insufficient to behave as I was at that moment. And I didn't change a lot but things got easier when I started to work.Generally I'd say it was a curse. I could have achieved much more if I was a motivated hard working midwit.
