As America declines and everyone’s lives get tougher, the rich are only celebrating more and more wins while growing wealthier and wealthier. The rich made a ton of money during covid. And before that, they made a ton of money after the 2008 financial crash. It seems like whenever anything bad happens for the rest of us, the rich manage to come out of it even more ahead than they already were before. And that leads to resentment.
