I believe they were, through their newer system, able to put like 8% more aircraft in the air, since the launcher took less time and was more consistent, as opposed to the kinda demanding steam system every carrier had been using beforehand. I think we tried to into EML but failed F-35 style, and now we're walking it back really fast because the carriers are, somehow, even less mission capable.
