First, communism in the "actual" form is a classless, stateless and moneyless society. No private property, only public/common ownership. It may even have to be a total global phenomena and perhaps not just in a single region. Second, it has never been achieved. If ever attained it will disrupt the status quo, in theory it will create total equality. But unknown if even possible, most attempts have been half-assed and ended up in tyranny or deviated from core principles if you look into it. Maybe with macro economics managed by some intelligent AI and not capitalism/greed it might still occur one day. If you think about it communism occurs naturally in smaller groups like a family unit, "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs."
