Are tax havens bad for society?
>>540752297People who can use tax havens are bad for societyNever met a rich man who wasn't a cheat and a liar. Maybe one day...
Obviously the government receiving less money than they think they deserve is the worst crime imaginable.
>>540752297Yes, but not when the taxes are so numerous its tyrannical.
>>540752363Maybe you're right. I wouldn't know. Do you meet a lot of rich people?
>>540752297Whether they're good or bad, what are you gonna do about it?
>>540752297Tax havens are just businesses who made money overseas keeping money overseas to avoid paying taxes for the privilege of moving it into the country. The best way to handle things is to simply not charge businesses at all for bringing money into the country that way to can reinvest with ease of mind and tax havens become irrelevant. Taxes should only be paid to the country the money was made in.
>>540752396goverbment can print money they care about control want as little power as possible outside themselves
>>540752297No because anyone smart enough to use them has eacaped the normie retard bubble, and normie retards are the only ones who take taxes seriouslyTaxes are to farm the masses who are passive and dumb enough to pay them, taxes are NOT for everyone>t. Does my contracting from dubai for 0 % income tax even though I dont live there
>>540752297why are some of those boats practically touching? wouldn't it be a bitch if you had to reverse it back into the spot?
>>540753670you have to fit all the boats there is not enough room to give them all a lot of space
>>540753751get rid of some of like 2 of them and problem would be solved
>>540753781get rid of like 2 of them i meant, fuck i can't type
>>540753794its sort of like a movie theater where you want to cram as many in there as possible because you are getting sick dock fees from each of those rich fuckers
>>540753913true, but if i was rich enough to own a slip, i wouldn't want my shit touching someone elses
>>540752297every child knows that they are... i mean how can a hort for rich rats to hide their money and always have an option to not pay taxes and to bring those as an argument against paying so unbelievable amounts of their stolen money be something not to view critical as someone who pays 50-60% or even more of his money as taxes and other fees to the state?
Just a natural, neutral part of the global ecosystem. Countries will use whatever competitive advantage they can get, if they're smart, and when you're a tiny nation with no industry or good potential for it, no natural resources, tourism pull, etc. you do the only thing you can do to make money and have less rules for rich people than other places. People like to think that if they just found more efficient ways for the government to take wealth off other people they will have more wealth themselves, in reality this just results in less wealth in the world.
>>540757096doesnt matter, most countrys work with taxes, and even if i think these are to high, you just cant accept these taxfree isles in your near, nor any citizens of these countrys doing business with or in your country..
>>540752297Monaco is cool, Dubai is not
>>540753317I don't understand why business pay tax in the first place. You give yourself a salary you pay tax. You take out dividend from your company you pay tax. You sell stock of your company you pay tax. Even if the company had a gazillion in profit all they can do is reinvest or take money out which is taxed.
>>540752297if anyone wants to play wargames, they should happen exactly there.. especially cause the most rats who benefit of it sit on their fat asses right there! Bomb monaco!
>>540752297Yeah. If I were elected president and had the same control Trump did, one of the first things I'd do would be to basically just get rid of tax havens entirely. The Caymans and NZ etc would immediately open up their entire books to us or we would start sanctioning them. If sanctions didn't work, we would just blockade them. All shell corporations, bank accounts, everything -- all immediately opened not just to us but to the global public so we could see what's been going on. Open source the investigation.
