White evangelicals do not see blacks as fully human, though they won’t admit this and most of them aren’t consciously aware of it. They adopt these black kids because they think they are uplifting them and that they will be grateful but in reality these kids always grow up resenting the parents because they brought them up in an environment that will always see them as 2nd class citizens, and their parents will always see them as pets. Sometimes the conditioning sticks and you will get self-hating black cucks, that usually marry other self-hating black adoptees and produce confused rootless offspring. Far more often, the kids act out during adolescence and wind out strung out or in jail and the parents quietly kick them out on their 18th birthday and never speak of them again. The Baptist couple that used to nanny my wife when she was a kid have 5 bio kids and a black adoptee. The bio kids are fine. The black kid was on probation for his drug charges, and within two weeks of getting out he knocked up a girl and caught new charges for assault, possession, and DUI.
