I could never understand this movie. The main character worshipped capitalism and the US, yet demanded to be treated as if he is living in socialism. A private business sets a price he does not like? Instead of taking his business elsewhere he demands a discount and crashes the shop because he does not like how the free market works. A private business refuses to serve his breakfast after noon, which is their inner regulation? He starts threatening them with weapons. The fuck was this guy's problem? He loved capitalism and hated it at the same time.

In addition to making a right wing guy the ultimate villain, this movie was also an opportunity to drive a wedge between men and women and promote single motherhood. It sold the lie that men are dangerous and shouldn't be allowed to see their children.
