More consumers, cheaper labor, etc. Shareholder value is, in most cases, the result of *someone* getting squeezed and unless you flood the country with jeets there are less someones to get that out of. The stock market is increasingly becoming like crypto which is just scam upon scam. Companies with real fundamentals can't get that guaranteed year over year growth so if you want to gain you need to get in scams and get out before they collapse.
