All jokes and memes aside, what are the political ramifications of the decades starting to blend together? Apart from AI slop the 2010s and 2020s have been functionally and culturally identical. Aging is going through something similar, to the point that we've stopped trying to label young people anymore. Things sort of stopped at millennials, young people now are just zoomers and once they grow up they just turn into neo-millennials. I feel like kids in the 2030s are going to be zoomers as well, indistinguishable from kids today or kids in the 2010s. Surely this can't be the apex of our society?

been alive since 1991, i got to see the tail end of the boomer golden age, it all ended on September 11 2001, but then again the 2000s was my teen years so i do have some nostalgia for it. to me the world really went to shit after obamas second term around 2014, hated how insane and hyper political everything got.2020s have been sort of a bland extension of the 2010s, it feels like the things that got popular in the 2010s are dying, like hip hop and cape shit movies and identity politics, but wont go away. the only big thing to happen was covid, and im a neet who never leaves the house so it didnt really matter to me.the 2020s feel like a void
