I'm very familiar with that area. Really lax zoning and building regs, good groundwater availability (it's terrible just west of there into the mountains), weather is mild. Can get very windy and dusty in the summer. About an hour commute into ABQ. It's a good investment because ABQ fags don't want to live in that crime infested hellhole, the land is getting snatched up. You won't be able to do any large scale ag because the water rights are all spoken for.
