And essentially able to fight back even when overwhelmed and still inflict casualties. America doesnt have the doctine advantage or the technology advantage and essentially needs to rethink its equipment, training, and doctrine to accomidate for the new way the buisness of killing is no longer exclusive to them with impunity.Two is america and a lot of the western world being insanely averse to losses of any form and the lengths they go to to project that there arent any mistakes casualties, or anything that would instantly drop morale which would be easy after being told and being the winners of war (america hasnt "won" a war vs an equal adversary since ww2 hence the punching down part) and everytime america pulls out of a region it has proven time and time again that the us does not maintain any meaningfil change. Which makes anyone looking not comfortable wuth the idea of losses. This effectively means they cant send anyone vs a peer opponent or one capable of inflicting casualties. Make fun of russia all you want but they at least can take casualties on the chin and keep going. Ironically the us has become what they insulted russia for but cant even man up to actually try to fight whatever they invaded
