>>540862126Bjørnskov (2016)"The peak-trough ratio is 10.3% for low EF as opposed to 3.4% for high EF. Both depth and recovery time are robustly associated with EF even after excluding the tails of EF score distribution. An increase in only 10 points of EF is associated with a decline of peak-trough ratio of 4% and a reduced recovery time of 10 months."Callais & Pavlik (2022)"1 SD in EF corresponds to 0.61 point reduction in unemployment rate, an increase in 1.36 jobs per 100 persons and 3.8% in income per capita."Eslamloueyan & Jafari (2019)"The regression results (Tables 2-5) show that the dummy variables of the 1997 and 2008 financial crises (denoted D97 and D2008) have negative coefficients whereas their interaction term with the institutional quality measures is positive for 1997 but weaker and not always significant for 2008. This indicates freedom reduces the adverse impact of crises on investment."Candela & Geloso (2021)"Results from panel regression show that one extra point in the 10-point scale HIEL increases GDP between 1.53 and 1.79 % points across models."Geloso & Bologna-Pavlik (2021)"In order to test for the competing role of democracy, the regression was rerun using death rates, HIEL, HIEL*death, Polity and Polity*death. The coefficient of HIEL*death rates was substantially larger than Polity*death.""Connors & Norton (2012) found that the negative relationship between government spending and economic growth holds within countries as well, and not just across countries, during the 1960-2010 period. Interestingly, the end of that period is marked by lower growth due to recession, yet they notice (see their Table 3) that “the countries with smaller governments had a much smaller reduction in growth rates”. Reducing public spending helps the recovery. This is likely because public spending creates misallocation of resources."https://menghu.substack.com/p/how-economic-freedom-mitigates-crisis?utm_source=publication-search
>>54086225190% of chinese homes were build in the last 30 years. And china has a 90+% home ownership rate. Also china has free healthcare and college.
"The combination of numbers 60/70/80/90 are frequently used to describe the private sector's contribution to the Chinese economy: they contribute 60% of China’s GDP, and are responsible for 70% of innovation, 80% of urban employment and provide 90% of new jobs. Private wealth is also responsible for 70% of investment and 90% of exports."https://www.weforum.org/stories/2019/05/why-chinas-state-owned-companies-still-have-a-key-role-to-play/Socialism will never work because it's literally impossible.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzHA3KLL7HoCollective ownership is impossible since it implies the use of scarce means to contradictory ends.Economic calculation is impossible under a central planner, and even if you could make economic calculations and resolve the knowledge problem, too, you'd just have a perfect simulation of the free market, so there'd be no point."The economic calculation problem is the contention that rational allocation of scarce resources becomes impossible in a socialist economy due to the absence of market prices for capital goods, which are necessary to express their relative scarcities and values in terms of consumer preferences.[1][2]Originating with Ludwig von Mises's 1920 article "Economic Calculation in the Socialist Commonwealth," the argument asserts that the elimination of private property in the means of production abolishes the competitive process that generates prices, leaving central planners without objective criteria for comparing production alternatives or assessing opportunity costs.[1][2]Friedrich Hayek later reinforced this by highlighting how prices convey dispersed, tacit knowledge across society—information on local conditions, technologies, and preferences that no single authority can comprehensively gather or utilize for planning.[3]"https://grokipedia.com/page/Economic_calculation_problem

>>540862474>>540862613"Communism with Chinese characteristics" smacks distinctly of fascism. It has a similar kick to how it manages the economy, and why it's so different from the West. It's simple. In China, business serves government. In the West, government serves business. In China, if some billionaire gets out of hand, a bunch of CCP agents show up at his house and drag him into a cell while seizing all his shit, and that's the end of him. No man, no matter how rich, is immune to this. Real power is reserved for the CCP, and when it detects that some private citizen is shitting all over all the rest to a harmful degree, he's taken care of.The West and particularly America has deliberately handicapped its government so it cannot do that to private citizens, and due to equality under the law, you can't treat a billionaire differently from the cashier at 7/11, no matter how obviously different the two are. The government has to pretend it doesn't see the difference, so it has to scrape and beg and plead to do similar things to billionaires who can afford extensive legal defense.

>>540862126>China has built more high speed railways in 15 years than the rest of the world combined85% of Chinas HSR mileage doesnt meet basic economic feasibility. If anything China has shown the world that HSR is mostly useless and a vanity project. On one hand you could say its cool to spend that type of money on your people, but over 80% of China HSR is essentially just wasted resources that could have gone to something else. This is the problem that Capitalism never has and Marxism will always have; how do you know when you actually need something? If people are willing to pay for it, and enough people are willing to pay for it to support its operation and maintenance. China has instead built tens of thousands of kilometers of HSR that rarely gets used.......what is the point? Why spend the time and resources to build something that wont even be used? Its a total waste of resources. That money could have gone to building out airport infrastructure, which is a far more logical and relevant form of travel than HSR.
Pure communism socialism capitalism does not work. There has to be reforms and guardrails and it depends massively on the people involved
>>540862126China found the perfect balance between capitalism and state controlled economy. They give the corporations enough freedom to innovate but without the ability to become too powerful like in the US.
>>540864606>shit healthcareThats universal thing more or less.
>>540862304Yeah, they literally rely on the global trade system more than any Western nation since most of their jobs are tied to the manufacturing from it
>>540865666Most of the products capitalism makes are useless. People will buy anything if they have money. Doesn't mean it's useful or necessary.
>>540862126Sure, it works when you have the world's largest and most obedient slave population. No other country can match that.
>>540862474The ECP is one of those things that gets repeated ad nauseum but assumes commodities under socialism cannot into prices which is fucking retarded, pride is just a measure of value and that value comes from different factors such as use value, exchange value, labor value (time/skill/capital) etc. “muh socialists can’t have prices” wasn’t true in the USSR where gosplan was literally planning an entire massive economy with fucking punchcards, and it’s certainly not true especially in the case of a Chinese style mixed economy. It is just something that gets trotted out constantly as a hadith, no one ever critically engages with it because it’s immediately apparent that Mises whole framework is dated and just not based in reality.
>>540862126>>China has built more high speed railways in 15 years These are very , very expensive projects. In USA, gov is so corrupt that high speed rail money is MASS Stolen. You need to start at the minimum jailing people, and ideally just killing the thieves. >otherwise we have 50 different thieves in 50 states . >who have no control Ideally let's say California tried to built it , billions of $ was just stolen. You need FBI / other feds just go there and shoot the thieves. In China you can shoot the thieves. in USA the thieves become multi-millionaires.
>>540865666You’re right anon, China should have invested those resources into making funkopops and BBC porn instead
>>540866455>labor valueFucking LOL
>>540862126communism is just the step before capitalism.kill your fucking self
>>540862126I don't give a fuck what you and every other leftist bastard in the West who worships Communist China has to say. Like most Westerners, you're nothing more than a dirty, self-hating, shitskin-loving anti-white leftist faggot who does nothing when young girls are groomed and children are surrounded by packs of blacks and browns and attacked. Islam is your moral compass. Go fuck yourself asshole, then go fuck yourself more, you vile kike piece of shit.
China isn't a Communist Country. They say they are, but in practice are pretty much the same as America or Australia. The only difference is that their government is controlled by a single guy who treats it like being the Emperor. Which is honestly probably the best form of Governance. A person at the top who actually wants what is best for his country because his country getting more wealth and power means he gets more wealth and power.Giving the lowest subhuman retard a vote and then replacing the government over and over is awful in the long run because it encouraged corruption. The politicians do favors for their friends who in turn hire them later on and they're encouraged to import a billion subhumans who will continue to vote them in for gibs in return for votes which let them scam the system more and more.A singular ruler is instead encouraged to make his country the best it can to get as much power and wealth as he can. As the quote goes;>“Absolutism tempered by assassination”
>>540862126A philosopher thinker and intellectual once said, if you can transfer N number of chinks between point A and point B, this is fine, but if you transfer the chinks back from point B to point A, youre just moving them in an aquarium, the first task cancels the second one and the second one cancels the first one and the entire train station is rendered waste of everybody's time
>>540862126i bet you look like alfredo morelos
>>540865666>...over 80% of China HSR is essentially just wasted resources... Tell me how I know you are American and have no public transport.
But that wasn't real communism!!!
>>540862126chinese commies always want civilization to be quantified by construction projectsunfortunately for them, it's something in the heart and mind, not in concrete and steeland they extinguished that heart/mind stuff doing the GLF and CRso now they're just building big hives and saying "look!! this means we're the best!!!" while still looking over the west's shoulder and copying its homework every day
