Honestly I agree.I don't want there to be more abortions, in my perfect world there would be none, but the world isn't perfect.On a basic level needing to have an abortion is obviously not an ideal scenario in the first place. It's a medical procedure with risks like any, it costs money, it's obviously better to avoid an unwanted pregnancy in the first place. If you do feel it's necessary to terminate a pregnancy it's also much better to do it as early in the pregnancy as possible, even using "morning after pill" medication to prevent the implantation of the embryo which is arguably separate from abortion.There are circumstances, though, where there is essentially no chance of a healthy baby forming and being born and trying anyway will only endanger the health/fertility of the mother too and it's sometimes only "caught" late in pregnancy. Just in general it's obviously unusual to go through the trouble of carrying a pregnancy to a late term before deciding to terminate suggesting SOME unusual circumstance.Hypothetically an exemption for health reasons should be enough, but again we have to deal with the imperfect world given to us and at least in america with the political landscape and dynamics it just doesn't work out.Why?Well who decides when there's risk ENOUGH to qualify?
