Germany tries to stay neutral but the western forces apply sanctions and blockades on them until they are forced to formally fight on the side of russia against them. Without telling you too much this leads to the COMPLETE destruction of europe. China uses its economic power to gain economic leverage over russia and europe. And china starts their own military alliance like NATO promising to be an actual solution to peace that NATO failed to be. The world falls essentially in control of China. This all happens because the U.S managed to topple the Iranian regime with heavy political and economic consequences in the U.S. because of this the U.S could only really try to intervene in Turkey and left europe to fend for itself against Russia.
