Republicans are not conservative. They are progressives that use the left's talking points from the past. Federal government is tyranny and the anti-federalists were right. So were the democratic-republicans. The modern republicuck has been the same since the 1850s. Trump is a tyrant and imperialism is progressive and left wing. Thomas Jefferson was a true conservative and would have hated Trump and the republican party.
How can one be a conservative revolutionary? It's an oxymoron.

A nation that is fully progressive extends too far and breaks. There was a time it worked. Greed took over and ease of attainment through corruption. There is no argument for either side now. The government should not have the power they have. the supreme court should not be allowed to change the constitution. Congress is too powerful. We need to restore power to the states.
