What if companies were legally required to put profits towards employee pay. So instead of the head guys buying super yachts, that money instead went back to the people in the company. This would happen at some certain threshold or growth percentage. The jist being the more money the company makes, the more they have to pay their workers. So Amazon and Walmart employees would become top tier jobs. And if a company starts to fail, all pay goes down. The head CEO and whatever top tier guys would still make more, just not obscenely more. This goes for small businesses too but at a smaller rate until they hit certain thresholds and tiers. A gastion owner making bank but pays their employees 9 dollars an hour will also change.
