I dont think anyone wants to open a new front. Ukraine already has the combined military support of the US and Europe. The only reason a new, wider front is to invade and destroy Russia but that will never happen. Would be too costly, prone to failure and even in the face of success they have nuclear weapons that can aim at any American or European city.
