I am tech illiterate. I see tweets like this all the time retweeted by AI "experts" or in this case Elon Musk himself. It always sounds like empty nonsense and the replies in the comments are equally empty many of them being Jeets. Is this some kind of propaganda or are people like this doing anything? Everyone seems to be using AI to do amazing things you just don't see the results of theses amazing things you just keep being told the process is so efficient and easy now. Is this real or a scam? Is this guy even doing anything?
>>540929514Scam. I still do all my coding by hand (and get paid to do it) because AI is a meme. If you have a real job that brings real value (and are self-employed) your job is not at risk of anything. On the contrary.
>>540929514Scam because grok is expensive and the worst model of the lot
>>540929644Agentic worker AI being integrated on an Enterprise levels with Enterprise level software is a real threat. I'm part of that workflow right now and I can tell you that Management's attitudes on replacing human jobs is very real and progressive. You can be good at coding that's great they only need so many people that are good at coding. Coding is in everything for every code monkey that we have there are around 50 other people doing other various things as software engineers go and business analysts.
You have to believe in the technology itself a priori. Which means you have to be some kind of turbonormie autistic
>>540929514It lets people ship faster (finish tasks faster.)The tasks are generally worthless as per usual. And more importantly, none of the tech has any value in hard sciences etc. which is particularly bad since you need new ballistics more than anything else. Materials etc. is where you would want more human capital invested if you were srs about not majorly declining.
The tech sector has always been fake. The words they use to say "im pretending to work" change sometimes, thats all.
>Using Grok to devJust one of Elon's dick riders. Nobody uses anything other than Claude, GPT, and Chinese models for any real work.In regards to using AI for 'real work', you need a harness of some kind. A set of toolkits an AI model can call to interract with other things. Perfectly doable, but extremely expensive these days unless you run a less complicated harness on a local machine with a decent mid-sized open source model.
>>540929717Exactly what he said, if you have a real job writing real software that brings real value, AI is not a threat.HFTs are hiring like there's no tomorrow in Sydney, if the companies making millions of bucks out of every nanosecond they can shave off their code still think humans are the way to go, that's all you need to know.
What do these AI coder actually make?
>>540929782I don't think even a single major Western journalist/intermediary for 'tech' has any particular breadth of knowledge outside of computer science. So most people don't know how bad things are.Even people who pretend to be 'Muh Military' guys don't bother looking into this for whatever reason.
I made 3 small games with Gemini Pro. 2 of them have more than 1000 lines of code. All done with AI.
>>540929514Elon broke Twitter's search function and when you watch a video full screen it doesn't even hide the cursor. Literally everything he makes is garbage.
>>540929863You likely made something worse than the middle-low tier of RPG maker works desu. No offense implied but games are probably the worst 'yay AI' field as it's more dependent on artistry than anything else.
>>540929863So some games. Yes, this technology has truly reshaped everything
>>540929514One thing I know for sure is that Grok is the number one for asking about current ongoing events or "problematic" topics. Other models have a delay of couple days or even weeks of their current database, but you can ask grok about something that happened like an hour ago and it will actually properly answer you. Also had topics that I asked other models that were either instantly refused with "i can't do that" or they gave me some bullshit answer, while grok gave me a whole essay about the topic with 0 filtering. But as to writing code i think fable is still on the top.
Claude is best for code. For task management and project planning? Copilot.Fucking. Copilot.
>>540929514What type of drugs are you on when you need to rely on Grok of all models for dialysis workloads?
>>540929912One is a side scroll shoot'em up. 80 arcade style The other si a commander and resource manager simulation. Text based with cutscenes. No bugs, made in less than a month. Using traditional tools would require several months just for one.
>>540929514It's a scam. These people's whole thing isn't making something with AI, but selling other people the promise of doing so.
>>540929711Whats the best model for ERP?
>>540929996something related to kidney function i assume
>not all steps using opus/fableHow to identify a elon shill
>>540930122UwUGPT
>>540930072Yes, and similar to template games, good luck selling these games.Erotic genres are probably a better bet, at ~$1 a sale is what I've seen. Although one intrepid soul has done a f2p AI erotic game with DLCs that might akshually be making a decent return for the maker.Pricing, and marketing as a whole, is another place where the technology is not particularly good btw, and has been getting raped consistently (multiple markets.)
>>540930193In not selling them. It was just for fun. They are online and people enjoy it.
>>540929514>Musk tries to sell vaporware, with literally sub 100 IQexample: he stated with max confidence “level 5” self driving was months away, a decade ago Because he reads a trendline and does not understand the technology is literally impossibleThis can help you understand his obscure unscientific claims
>>540930122Local uncensored Qwen3.8 or Muse
>>540929717>Management's attitudes on replacing human jobsThat's a real threat, yes. That's why I specified self-employment where that particular cancer doesn't apply.>code monkeyYes, those will be replaced.>50 other people doing other various thingsThat's another can of worms, but if they think they can make Claude write good code, be my guest.
>>540929514>man who produces nothing of value offloads his "work" onto AI
>>5409295145.6 Sol is not good for complex coding though. This guy is 100% producing slop or "complex" is for webapps to him.
>>540929844xitter posts
>>540929863you mean you cloned git hub repos usng billions of dollars
>>540930229That's okay, but it's irrelevant to the conversation in that case as it's non-productive work (and doesn't even strive towards this first low bar.)
