Guess what state Mondale was from?
>>540932075why do you post this everyday? bot?
>>540932150Reagan came close to winning Minnesota too.>Reagan: 1,032,603 / 49.54%>Mondale: 1,036,364 / 49.72%
>>540932250Why always 1984 and never 1972? That was a 49-state landslide too.
Any oldheads remember the 2016 election night, I really thought everything would change.
>>540932075>conservative hero wins in a landslide>amnesties millions of illegalsyey democracy
>>540932567Probably because it's more recent. 1984 was the last time many of those states voted for a Republican president. Pic related is from 1988 when Al Franken predicted Mike Dukakis would beat George Bush by winning the electoral college but losing the popular vote. He thought that would be a good outcome because it would better represent the will of a people across the country instead of that of certain population centers.

>>540932075The trajectory of almost all graphs relating to economy, the average worker, banking, the federal reserve, gold, foreign policy, and wages/income have gigantic variations right around this time, usually starting in 1985; which now mimic or are exponentially larger now than they ever have been since.>what?I mean, just think of a graph that represents data from time period of 1980-1990. Right around this election, there are statistical anomalies across almost all of them where you will see huge ups or downs or downright anomalous data even though it is accurate. If you take that data and overlay it onto a graph of data representing 2016 until now, it’s either identical or exponentially larger variations except this time it is sustaining. The jumps in the graph lines have never been larger and continue to climb. Usually it relates to economy, wages/income, foreign policy, banking, etc. things that effect how much a dollar costs both domestically and overseas. Maybe I’m schizophrenic, but you can see for yourselves. Pull up any copypasta graphs you have saved right now and you’ll see it.

>>540932075And thats why George Orwell called his novel 1984 you fucking conservashits
>>540932075He only won because of that Assassination attempt.
>>540937767And because Mondale had to bad mouth an astronaut hero.
>>540932656This. I was literally about to post this. He was given a mandate with this election landslide and still legalized millions without closing the boarder. Reagan was the original worthless neocon
>>540937792And because he picked a woman as his VP. Even most women didn't like the idea of a woman being a heartbeat away from the presidency.
>>540937943Boomers will tell you that Democrats double crossed him, promising to secure the border if he agreed to this one time amnesty. Problem is, he should have known better than to trust Democrats to uphold their half of the deal without a legally binding construct.
>>540937945Ironic too considering anyone who knew Reagan knew his wife was calling the shots. Reagan may of been president but Nancy was the one who wore the pants in that marriage.
