Same way colonizers claimed any kind of change to the barbaric ways of the colonized were objective improvements. Bottomline - we should all just accept that forcing beliefs upon others is not a good thing and that might be a starting point for finding some kind of understanding. But modern right-wingers are not likely to accept this, because colonization if part of the basis for claiming racial supremacy, so we are not likely to progress too far with that. As always, their egos are more important to them than tangible results. Oh well.
