In other slavery system you had also slave soldiers, slave secretary, slave teachers, slave hand maidens. This slavery instead was all black and all cotton pickers.

Australian aboriginals just use to walk away, completely forgetting they were prisoners. Blacks stayed, they were comfortable with being owned, this was explained ironically in the movie Django Unchained.
