Russia just broke the world record in the air defence effectiveness.

https://english.news.cn/europe/20260817/c78e6d4cd5c549b69251a1d21ab4e372/c.html

On Saturday, Russian systems intercepted 1,328 fixed-wing drones, seven guided air bombs, four HIMARS projectiles, and 17 FP-5 Flamingo long-range cruise missiles. On Sunday, air defense networks built upon this momentum, shooting down an additional 1,478 fixed-wing drones, 14 guided air bombs, nine Flamingo cruise missiles, and one HIMARS projectile.

The vast majority of incoming strike drones were targeted and destroyed using thousands mass produced ultra-low-cost FPV interceptor drones.

With 2,806 drones and dozens of incoming precision missiles intercepted across two consecutive days, this multi-layered defense operational architecture reflects an estimated 99.9% interception rate, setting a global benchmark for active point and area target protection.

Out of these thousands drones only few units managed to set a single retailer on fire and kill one person in Gorlovka in the Donetsk region.

On the other hand, judging from Russian strikes vs Ukraine, they take pretty much everything up the ass, recently.

In the same two day period Russia destroyed several factories in Kiev (including Fire Points), Pochaina Railway Station in northern Kyiv along with parked trains, several warehouses in Kharkiv, fuel tanks at Kremenchuk Oil Refinery were destroyed (refinery is offline since 2022 but serves as a fuel storage now), Hoholiv airbase near Kiev was hit by missiles, another Epicentr warehouse/store was hit by drones in Odesa (worth around $70M, pretty much like Wildberry), Ukraines largest metallurgical plant ArcelorMittal was destroyed and suspended activity, Kanatove Airbase (F-16, Mirage) was hit by missiles and big fires erupted etc etc etc.

When Ukraine is done for good, time will come for checking NATOs AD work vs drone swarms too, especially UKs xD

When was the last successful drone attack on a NATO warehouse? I mean NATO, not Ukraine.
>>
>>540945782
Ukraine didnt need any of these anyway so whatever
>>
>>540945782
If this is true why are there multiple oil refineries on fire in the suburbs of Moscow right now?
>>
>>540945901
Iran was hitting US bases all the time causing massive damage in biggest and best protected US bases on Earth. Russia hasnt launched any drone swarm vs European NATO yet, sadly xD
>>
Doesn't matter.
In the drone spam meta every AA-defense complex has their saturation point.
It all depends on how much drones you amass. If 5k drones don't cut, then you just produce and ames 50k, 500k and send them at once.
As such this defensive Cucktin warfare is not sustainable in the long run

Russia intensifies its attacks vs Ukraine too. It is a mutual game.

Russia builds massive modular drone bases near the Ukraine and Belarus borders according to satellite images, documents and reports.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2026/08/16/russia-builds-secret-drone-bases-in-nato-striking-distance/Explain

Equipped with dozens of launch rails (at least 59 identified, many extended for heavier models), they support rapid, high-volume launches of jet-powered long-range suicide drones such as the Geran-4 and Geran-5. These cheap yet highly destructive weapons carrying substantial warheads and flying at jet speeds with ranges around 1,000 km can be mass-produced and stored in large numbers (one site alone holds over 1,000). The infrastructure enables Russia to fire hundreds/thousands daily in sustained waves, overwhelming air defenses through sheer volume and attrition. Positioned for maximum reach, the bases cover the entire territory of Ukraine. Critically, their locations also place all of Poland and Romania within striking distance. These two NATO countries host the primary land supply corridors funneling Western weapons, ammunition, and aid to Ukrainian forces. Strikes or threats against those routes could severely disrupt logistics and in 100% isolate Ukraine from the outer world amid current ports blockade.

Ukraine struggles to destroy these drone launchers because the sites are numerous, dispersed deep inside Russia, shielded by dense air defenses, and the simple rails plus storage are cheap and rapidly rebuildable making sustained, decisive strikes impractical with limited long-range munitions.

That's a funny way to say "Moscow is on fire again"

I did. The US is s NATO member, and yes - Iranian drones and missiles destroyed numerous warehouses in its bases xD

they do, read the OP, literally every day for years. The whole european industry is supplying them with drones and rockets. For people who live in Belgorod the sound of Pantzirs at night is already a normal thing, like bird singing.

NORTHCOM Deputy Commander Lt. Gen. Joseph Jarrard just warned the US is defenceless against a drone swarm attack on US soil:

"We dont have the sensors… [or] effectors to go after that problem. We cant detect drones and we cant shoot them down".

https://files.catbox.moe/0i5mwc.mp4

Yup, thats a common problem that i was explaining multiple times xD

>All these modern ADs like S‑400, Patriot, THAAD etc use Doppler radar to filter out stationary or very slow objects (clutter). An F‑35 at Mach 1.5 or this big-ass Flamingo missile at Mach 1 create a strong, high‑speed return. A few‑kg drone flying at 100 km/h and 30 m altitude produces a signal indistinguishable from birds or ground noise. Westoids use this trick against Russia now DESPITE the fact that they perfectly know that it is a double-edged sword that could kill them much easier, because Russia has years of experience in shooting down drones, FPV-interceptors that _not even one NATO army_ fields so far etc. It is playing with fire.

>The whole european industry is supplying them with drones and rockets.

If thats the case, Russia should cut Ukraine off of Poland and Romania. Ports were already blocked and no Western ship can get through without being hit by missiles and drones. Now its time to destroy railway and road infrastructure between Poland/Romania and Ukraine. Russia already destroyed +200 locomotives with Geran-4 drones and began testing FABs vs Dnieper bridges. Thats a good direction imo

Russia is now intercepting almost all Ukrainian "Flamingo" cruise missiles, German outlet Focus reports.

Over the past several weeks, only one or two of the FP-5 missiles reached their targets out of 11 launched. They struck the Avitek missile plant in Kirov region on July 24-25.

Russia's ability to shoot down the Flamingos comes from A-50U airborne early warning aircraft, which forecast the missiles' most likely flight paths.

Citing French outlet L'Indépendant, Focus writes that Ukrainian strikes on major Russian industrial facilities have stalled as a result

These numbers are hugely inflated by both sides.
I lived at the border region, and haven't ever witnessed more than a dozen drones in one batch. And dozen is already too much for AA more often than not.
If hohols were really capable of launching hundreds, they could have easily droned military targets, but they don't even try it, only targeting flammable civilian shit for which even a single drone is enough.
