The rest of the time 99.9% of the time these expensive toys sit rotting in dark steel lockers, collecting dust, growing obsolete, serving no purpose other than to reassure their owners that they are, in fact, real men. But a gun that never leaves its case is just an expensive paperweight, and a man who defines himself by it is just a sad, frightened collector no different from the Funko Pop hoarder, the beanie baby speculator, the action-figure fiend.
