On paper it looks like a good idea to keep the second amendment. It's a right after all, but think about how many rights have been violated because of the second amendment. Guns being readily accessible for everyone is a bad idea because not everyone should own guns. It's why in many first world countries in Europe for example you have to take a license before you can own a firearm.
