Was she really that bad except for her immigration policies? At least Europe was doing well economically during her time.

Would

Not necessarily terrible otherwise but the immigration stuff is a pretty big issue, especially now in retrospect

that was her only policy besides buying unlimited natural gas from russia lmao
>>
>>540954797
I personally find her a pleasant person. Like I would trust her advice in a bakery. But she should have her pension only from the immigrant contributions.
>>
>>540954937
Not true. How was she able to lead Germany for 16 years without policies then?
>>
>>540954797
due to the mass immigration europe will never do well again

Are you retarded or just completely ignorant? She was far worse, literally the worst thing happening to germany after losing the wars.
>froze infrastructure spending
>refused to acquire sub zero point loans
>sold out solar to make us dependant on gas
>personally froze semiconductor investments
>shielded VW execs in front of our own legislation
>put von der Leyen at the head of the European Commission
And yes, she also allowed the immigrants in. Her whole policy was doing nothing or "keeping everything as it is", which was fine for everyone in pension or soon to be in pension. Everyone else will spend the next decades trying to catching up, while also paying in the ever increasing pension system she did nothing to reform while the writing was on the wall. Even without the immigrants we'd have massive economic issues right now. At best, less without the ukraine war.

At least she was fair and realised Orban Viktor was right.
>>
>>540954797
she sucked, she did nothing.
all positive growth in that era was because of german reunification paying off. even if you put a donkey in the chancellor seat you would have gotten these growth numbers.

her immigration policy absolutely destroyed every little respect she had. she will not be remembered. she is already hiding away and avoiding the public, she knows she failed.

that treasonous whore is reaponsible for tens of millions of sand niggers invading being made 'something we need to accept' and then casually set up the board for today's war on Russia.

they were in hungary, your precious orban let them in then made them everyones problem

schengen is broken, nobody follows the rules that were put in place to prevent exactly this scenario

She transformed the country from approx. 10% non-Germans to 50% non-Germans in the span of about 20 years.
This is arguably the fastest ethnic displacement of a major population in recorded human history (possibly excluding some exceptional armed conflicts such as the Mongolian conquests), thus dwarving the various ethnic cleansings and expulsions of the 21st century both in absolute and relative terms.

A truly remarkable feat, in a way.

You're a kike trying minimize and damage control.
The arguments against poz policies like immigration are still the same as they were a hundred years ago, even people thousands of years ago could see the problem, same for other garbage like feminism. Entire empires, cultures and religions have been ripped apart because the people inside it had minor differences. Absolutely none of these consequences are unexpected. What would have been unexpected is something good coming from all this.
This was done deliberately by people who knew what would happen because they hate whites and want us dead. It wasn't an oopsie daisy my bad didn't know it would do that.

she fucked over germany energy-wise by letting the greens kill nuclear power
>>
>>540954797
>At least Europe was doing well economically during her time.
That wasn’t her achievement. Like the typical boomer, she inherited a functioning country and just didn’t have to do much other than not fuck it up.
And she still fucked up many things:
She completely neglected our infrastructure like railroads.
She ignored the foreseeable demographic changes and didn’t reform the pension system.
She didn’t take climate change serious enough and the delay in taking action is becoming very expensive for us.

those stuck there were only a few thousand.merkel then called out to whole shitholistan to come to germany creating a caravan of millions.at that time the 5 million syrians were still stuck in turkey.she set the caravan in motion

She was the last decent German politician and I think the Minsk accords on her part were probably the best you could expect from any European leader. Merkel sitting down and talking to Putin face to face would be unheard of in 2026 as would giving any legitimacy at all to the separatist’s concerns.
>>
>>540960454
She didn’t personally make Poroshenko violate the accords though. They were agreed to by both sides and then violated constantly but Merkel didn’t have anything to do with that.

I’d bet most euros would rather have Merkel back than “let’s go this winter without showering to OWN Vlad Putin.”

gee if only they had nuclear power, i wonder who phased it out
>>
She was worse than people gave her credit for. She centeralized state, finance, and the media while basically destroying it with opportunist lackies. The big coaltion was the worst thing that ever happened to germany since the war but the only way she could stay in power for 16 years.

I feel like Justin Trudeau might have her number in that regard, without looking at raw stats first.

I remember watching some Twitch streamer visiting Canada a couple years ago, and literally every single place they visited had a strong Indian accent working there. Theme park? Indians. Asking how the private car park works? Indian. Every shop they visited? Indians. Getting fast food? Served by Indians again.

It was so fucking weird to hear. Then Trudeau made that tweet a while ago, that was the most politically nothingburger way to say "oops, we fucked this up real bad". Then he quit and started dating Katy Perry a few months later.
