To the extent this isn't bullshit (the video is complete bullshit and OP a faggot), new build quality is generally lousy due to people's absurd expectations as to what they can get for what they're willing top pay, lack of patience by pushing for completion sooner than common sense would dictate, and the confirmation bias that results in them believing the standard developer bullshit of overpromising and under-delivering, like a kid believes in the tooth fairy.

Ah yeah. That makes sense. I wonder if it would actually hold up to the pressure or if it would just pop out. I assume it popped out because it has a spring which allows it to extend a little bit out of the wall to spray the water.

What non 15A plug could you possibly have for a washer? The only non-standard plugs that Google AI can find for washers is some of them apparently use the NEMA 5-20P plug, but I can't find any washer that uses that. Plus, any dedicated heater load, dryers and ovens, use 240V plugs, which would look obviously different from a 120V outlet. They wouldn't look identical no matter what bizarre washer you have.
And it's still very clearly a European plug, dummy.

The video is complete bullshit. That's very obviously not a "new build". It might be (probably is) an expensive renovation of an old structure. The rotting frame and deck are classic "we bought a 1920s mansion and fixed it up" problem. The contractors just painted over the rotten wood instead of tearing it out and replacing it.

Painting is so easy, I've redone some apartments and they were only a few thousand-dollar jobs each.
I wouldn't think a new build would cost this much to paint but must just be cost of living in the area or something. I am literally never ever gonna hire a painter, it's just so easy to DIY (and no, they don't magically do it better with some special meme technique, takes a couple jobs to learn to their level total.)

For their cabinets it looks like they put in a massive island with a lot of extra counter space so yeah you're paying that much.

Of course I said no i have a 10 year backlog of my uncle's houses.

More chill than any other manuel labor job I've had, both interior and exterior. Only time it really isn't is when you're in 95 degree heat.
But really you could pick what part of the year you took jobs and whether you wanted to do interior / exterior and at that point just don't take what you don't want.
And "learning" it literally only takes a few jobs honestly, one of the jobs where you learn from the boss and can start doing your own jobs in a year or two easy.

That's what usually happens with cheap contractors and their cheaper subcontractors. Even in Goymony.
Such houses are expensive enough at 90-95% perfection. At nearly 100% perfection they are much more expensive.
Who dares to say "money doesn't matter it must be perfect" when signing the contract?
