How would you rate Russia’s performance in Ukraine?
>>
>Buckbreak NATO
>Make US piss shid and fard itself while running the fuck away from Europe

Poland's next / 10
>>

You actually believe this?
>>
>>541026842
Yeah I do have a pair of eyes, thanks for asking
>>
>>541026655
Progressive but costly drive towards victory. Whatever gains they end up with will be ideological at most.
>>
Pyrrhic victory if any is to be found at the crawling pace they're going.
>>
3/10
Saved by being derpy enough to keep hitting themselves against the wall.
>>
>>541026655
I used to be neutral toward Russia but now I don't like it. I worry about what happened to the few people left who seemed to have hearts of gold, that I don't see anymore in these parts.
>>
>>541026655
i thought russia was going to sweep yookraine but they made me into a fool instead. navy fucked up, air force fucked up, stalemate with no objectives achieved, economy slippin. i think putin will mobilize after the elections. not sure what else he can do
>>
>>
>>541026655
2/10

Their approach to drone warfare in the first year was abysmal. They'd keep sending tanks on suicide offensives where drones would just target the turret and subsequently turn the tank into a huge fireball. It took them another year to fully utilize drone warfare. They have no initiative. Ukrainian agents keep slipping by and score massive victories like operation spiderweb. Too tired to name the rest but there are so many incidents where they kept getting severely outplayed. Two of the most prominent ones: (1) the Kursk convoy which accompanying 150 infantrymen all dead in a HIMARS attack. (2) Training post in Donetsk where more than 50 recruits were killed in a HIMARS attack. I give them 2 points because unlike Iran, they have dared to kill US official Lindsay and managed to score a hit on a Brazilian/Colombian mercenary facility which killed more than 30 fighters in a single strike.
>>
>>541026655
2/10. They should have never done a full scale invasion. Horrible optics and a strategic blunder for which they'll be paying for decades to come, both externally and internally.

Attack from the east blitzkrieg style, gobbled up as much of Donbass as you can in the first month or two and immediately disengage to defensive positions and sue for ceasfiee. Claim the goal is achieved and let the West calm down again and stop giving a shit as Ukranians impotently are trying to seek international justice. Same thing they did with Crimea. We would have all forgotten about it by now.

they said it just themselves that they have no way to win it and their economy wont last long

this year is first year with non-existent advance and they out of troops now and afraid to do draft or use nukes, altought nukes dont exist so they couldnt use even if they wanted
>>
>>541026655
2/10 start based on severely underestimating the counter western oligarchs have over their nations and their desperation, 9/10 turn around since they've single handedly ended American global hegemony and are on course to completely seize trillions of dollars of mineral wealth and farmland and seizure of the black sea north coast for at least a century, all while losing a minimum amount of soldiers (compared to the resources the west and the Ukraine has sunk into the war).

Even if they lost 200,000 dead Russia has still secured its western border for decades and will see a major economic boom once the war is over, all while turning Europe in a permanent economic backwater and removing its biggest global rival without having to engage in a world war or exchange nukes. The question is going to be how will they navigate the Chinese century, since the west is done being a serious threat.
>>
>>541026655
Literally 0/10

I donno bros but sending men to die for mere centimetres of land seems very…. old school? Not to mention, wasn’t Ukraine disallowed from even striking inside Russian territory at the start of the war? Now the uk is actively providing Ukraine with intel and hardware to do so?
>>
>>541026655
5/10 great memes were made from the war but not many good memorable events and I really wanted to see Zelensky forced to go back and fight on the front lines.
>>
extremely poor initially, now merely poor
>>
>>541026655
excellent considering they're basically fighting ww3 solo.
>>
>>541026655
They fucked up the initial maneuver warfare, like the Hostomel airfield grab and such, but they are hangin on through attritional warfare.
Russia has repeatedly shownthrough history it is able to adapt and overcome initial losses.
6.5/10.
>>
>>541027545
>Not to mention, wasn’t Ukraine disallowed from even striking inside Russian territory at the start of the war? Now the uk is actively providing Ukraine with intel and hardware to do so?
Oh yeah, a lot of people missed this detail. Start of the war, Russia was very outspoken against the idea that the West could supply Ukraine with cruise missiles to hit assets inside their territory. I think there might've been some backchannel talks where Putin actually threatened nukes if it happened. But that retard Putin forgot Ukraine could still accomplish the same outcome if they just used drones fabricated in the West. I guess Putin saved face among his oligarchs with his threat but the outcome is still the same.
>>
There’s quite literally 0 excuse for them to have taken this long. “Wahhh but they’re up against all of NATO!” Yeah doesn’t matter. The USA could take on literally all of NATO and it would take like 2 months, then we would steamroll every other country they were defending. Russia is supposed to be a superpower right? It’s a 2/10. They’ve at least taken SOME territory, but not enough to matter at all, and they haven’t actually conquered it until it’s fully recognized as part of Russia

Russia is losing the broader strategic war.

Russia’s "meat grinder" tactics have led to unprecedented attrition. Total Russian casualties are now estimated between 1.3 and 1.5 million killed or wounded. July 2026 was the bloodiest month for Moscow since early 2025, with nearly 43,000 troops bleeding out on the frontlines. The battlefield mortality rate is exceptionally high—with reports indicating nearly three deaths for every one wounded soldier due to poor medical evacuation infrastructure.

The war has firmly come home to the Russian population. Constant Ukrainian drone strikes on domestic oil refineries and e-commerce warehouses have crippled gasoline production, spiking inflation. Furthermore, the loss of over a million skilled workers who fled conscription has created a severe civilian labor deficit. Russia has even resorted to allowing private businesses to buy their own air defense systems because the state can no longer protect its own airspace
>>
>>541029067
Both have achieved zero of their stated goals while USA has a few 100 casualties and Russia a merely 1,5+ million killed.
Yeah pretty much the same.

Well its going worse for russia than when afghanis defeated russia in 80s, which was largely seen as the last breath of soviet union
>>
>>541026655
>Russia’s performance in Ukraine
FUBAR from the start. I'm not sure if it was solely due to bad intel, but Russia wasn't prepared and it cost them dearly. This war will end in a stalemate/pyrrhic victory and both Russia and Ukraine will be hurting severely for the coming decades. Putin flushed his historical legacy down the toilet in 2022.
>>
>>541026655
Helmet/10 i even left the country despite the great business climate for beginners.
>>
>>541030034
But the Soviet supported government survived another 2 years before it went down after the Soviets pulled out.
It was nothing like it happened with the amis who lost control while they were fleeing like rats.
>>
>>541026655
based on America's 4/10 performance in Iran I'd say Russia is 1/10
>>
>>541030181
thats a pretty terrible argument. The "soviet government" in afghan had no power and collapsed and is just footnote in history while the entire ussr itself collapsed shortly after.

Russia is going to get a large chunk of Ukraine most likely. What is America going to get? Of course Rusniggers are losing lives, but they consider it good.
>>
About expected under these conditions. Only us and *maybe* China would do better. Most countries aren't even capable of warfare at this scale.
>>
>>541030261
I doubt it. Ukraine will just bomb them with drones like how IRA bombed UK. But with far less risk and more precise damage.
>>
>>541030302
And UK ended up with northern ireland

you call it... C minus or D plus.
pass, but barely

they are going to let nafo do everything they want, and then waste us all in a hellfire because putin was too weak to oreshnik places in the west

not great

After their 2014 invasion Putin used an entire decade to make the Russian economy shielded against sanctions hence why the sanctions didn't do shit also he used this time to modernise the army.
The performance we saw was the outcome of his modernisation so imagine how shit it was before that.
In the north soldiers didn't knew an actual invasion was happening until a few hours before it started, soldiers were told to drive as fast as possible to kiew and that Ukrainians will welcome them with open arms.
On a tactical level it was completely retarded
>>
>>541030340
UK had all of Ireland under control and lost it and that was with minimal casualties whereas russia has lost more then usa in Vietnam. Russia lost more then they did in afghan which sped up collapse of Soviet system. Putin ans his generation are in 70s and 80s. None of that is sign of success.
>>
>>541030261
If they could just send men to die and not worry about anything else then this could continue forever. But the Ukrainians are hitting economic assets in Russia everyday. There was a report that estimated the total damage accrued by Russia from strikes on their oil facilities, warehouses, ports, cargo ships, etc totaled more than $5 billion every week. Gotta pump those numbers up!
>>
>>541030414
As i said, ukraine can just infinitely destroy russian assets and russia cant respond in same way. putin has maybe 10 years left in him which is not enough time for social reform. I seriously think 3rd collapse of russia is on the way.

>>541027497
>Even if they lost 200,000 dead Russia has still secured its western border for decades
the problem is they havent done any of that yet, western border secure means fucking Lvov.
also, 2 million dead hohols would have been useful to be drafted against nafo, now they are all dead.
>>
>>541030394
Ireland became free because Germany bankrupted the English empire in the 2 world wars. If not for us they would have never become free.
>>
>>541030261
>What is America going to get?
America instantly got higher oil prices, which is good because it stimulates US oil production and hurts China.

The only problem is that Trump, for some reason (he might be traitor), lets China trade with Iran. US should have covered Strait with naval mines instantly and destroy all Iranian ports to prevent Iran from trading and raise oil prices even higher. Air strikes on oil fields would also be good for them. This would force all of the world to buy oil from the US or its protectorates.

It is actually the best moment because Russian production is attacked by Ukraine, so Russia wouldn't be able to replace Arabic countries and Iran.

It is, however, good for me personally because inflation is lower.

I honestly believed Russia when they said they weren't going to invade and it was all NATO propaganda, because invading seemed like such a stupid thing to do.

Turned out they were that stupid, but the war went even worse for them than I expected it to. We're at the point where they're actually in an existential war of their own making.

>>541033926
You have a point, between Ukraine and Iran the traditional great powers have both punched themselves in the dick for seemingly no reason.

They failed to appreciate the defensive advantage that drones give an entrenched defender. Not a good look for the worlds supreme land power. However, America also made the same mistake so now russia doesnt look as shitty.
