Atheism: the conspiracy theory that the universe spontaneously created itself out of nothing for no reason and all religions were secretly made up by a group of evil people as a means of controlling the world.

>>541048857>the conspiracy theory that the universe spontaneously created itself out of nothing for no reasonNo. We don't know yet. I simply doubt your claim as you have not presented enough evidence. If sufficient evidence emerges I will have no choice but to believe in a God.>and all religions were secretly made up by a group of evil people as a means of controlling the world. They emerged organically through long periods of time, not secretly and deliberately. However I think it is utterly retarded to claim that they have not been used to steer human behavior and thought.

>>541048857>Christians claim God is all knowing, all powerful, and all loving>Children get cancerThe paradox that breaks every christcuck

>>541049228They deserved it because they stayed up watching horror movies one night!!
>>541049228How is that a paradox?
>>541049246This remains the same even if you are a Theist. The only difference the bang was caused by an invisible entity that apparently exists forever and wants me to remove skin from infant penises. The "nothing exists" is also a complete straw man. We do not currently have an explanation, that does not mean that an explanation does not exist.
>>541049455Nobody said god was an entity though
>>541049228“All men alike, both guilty and innocent, die the death of nature: which death of nature is inflicted by the power of God on account of original sin, according to 1 Samuel 2:6: ‘The Lord killeth and maketh alive.’ Consequently, by the command of God, death can be inflicted on any man, guilty or innocent, without any injustice whatever." (ST I–II:94:5 reply to obj. 2)Thomas Aquinas
>>541049453Not exactly a paradox. I simply think that if we start from the assumption that a God does indeed exist. And this God does indeed love its creation, then the amount of pain and suffering that permeates biological life on earth is unexpected. There could be reasons that we are no capable of grasping. But you must admit, the gratuitous suffering that has taken place, especially in the animal kingdom for billions of years does not seem the work of a truly loving and caring entity.
>>541049490>An entity is something that exists as itself. It does not need to be of material existence.>something that exists apart from other things, having its own independent existenceIf not an entity, what do you suggest we use to describe the idea of a God?
>>541049246>nothing exists>BANG!>some old guy made up by a bunch of jews snaps his fingers and there's light>and he keeps doing it until everything else is madeIt's really not all that different, except your version comes from jewish fairytales instead of jewish math.
I don't know why I put myself through this time and time again. None of the Christians in this thread care about having a real discussion. OP has posted his AI caricature strawman and left the thread.
>>541049769So you think Jews invented mathematics?

>>541049630Its just a poetic metaphor. Obviously 2000 years ago they had a Big Bang concept
