How did they basically get rid of all the Africans in their population?What lessons can we learn from them?

>>541051232We never imported africans. the founders of the country wanted a racemixed nation (their writings, correspondence etc constantly talk about the "aborginal brothers" etc etc) to the point where we actually got many tribes to join the fight against Spain for argentinian independence. That was the first win, actually. We got them to join the army, but didn't give them any guns so they were basically cannon fodder for the spaniards. Then, around mid-1800's we obliterated what was left of the opposing tribes in what was called "Reconquest of the desert" -- we basically got a general to ride south and kill anything that moved along his path. Not entirely unprovoked, because these tribes would pillage towns and cause trouble constantly. So, in the end, we still got a large percentage of pre-hispanics, but almost no africans. Until recently, that is. There are some africans now, as a consequence of the socialist governments we had in the last couple of decades. They sell fake watches on the street.
