Supposedly those carriers were being resupplied from US bases in the gulf.When they got wrecked there were no backup plans.They didn't have logistic ships ready to resupply the carriers. They just ran on whatever they had onboard. So they had to do rationing.Completely avoidable. One of the easiest, cheapest way to maintain morale on a ship is to have good food. How the hell could the most powerful navy in history not manage this?
