Why are cognitive elites attracted to liberalism more than conservatism? Is it simply because elite-making institutions are captured by liberals, or because smart people are intrinsically averse to conservatism?
Almost all the nazis at nuremberg were 99th percentile, one of them was 95th percentile. What is liberalism and what is conservatism?
What does extremely conservative even mean
May I see the data
>>541082402There attracted to "selling" liberalism to the masses more OP. They are also more prone to being narcissistic sociopaths for themselves.
>>541082402clear as day which side the lesser evil and lesser delusional is, that's whydon't get me wrong tho, both sides and the entire system is still shit true 160+ elites are usually anarchists & libertarians200+ and we get kekistanis only
>>541082402its because theyre younger. IQ usually peaks around 25, but of course, we gain more life experience later which gives us more crystalized knowledge, so I wouldnt necessarily call a 25 year old smarter than a 50 year old just because he or she has a higher IQ.
>>541082402The ideological frameworks used by the lower and middle classes have very little currency among the ruling elite. Political parties gain the support of the elite by acting in the best interest of the elite. There is no evidence for popular sentiment having a measurable impact on policymaking.
>>541082402Because of this:
>>541082402It's because of the marketing. Conservatives don't market themselves with intellectual arguments for their policies they just fearmonger about the enemy 99% of the time.People with functioning brains see this, see hypocrisy in much of it, and are repulsed. There's genuine arguments to be made for conservative positions that could appeal to intellectually minded sorts, but they just don't make them.
>>5410824021. They don’t want to be stifled by their intellectual inferiors. It’s a big insecurity with them. They do not want to be limited in what they are allowed to think or say, and since they think more deeply, they have more to express.2. A greater openness to experimentation, and pursuit of novelty, means they want to see what other people can do if not limited unnecessarily.3. I am more confident in the first two, this part is just my conjecture: there may be something inherent in openness and intelligence, where there is a primary openness psychologically that allowed them to pursue unexplored avenues of thought, and that political openness derives from this:
>>541082402StupidMost of those "cognitive elites" are midwit retards.
>>541082476I love this fact, and I love that when I looked it up the goal posts where moved to an IQ of 150 being special, and how none where original thinkers because of this.
>>541082718Are you serious? Most of them are fucking retarded.
>>541082504Another chart from the same source. I just asked grok to generate the bell curve chart. https://rstudio-pubs-static.s3.amazonaws.com/1048235_fead1ce0fac746d5ba070f4b92b1e2a9.html
When life is too good you have to solve problems so you can feel better about yourself. One of the things you can do is let in immigrants that want to destroy your country.
>>541082815Liberals? Yes. But I was speaking about the motivations of intelligent people, and why they may be liberal in some sense.
>>541082476That’s a sample of leadership though. It’s a given that the foremost figures in the regime are gonna be high IQ. But how did that track in the general population? Higher IQ people might have been more inclined to defect or secretly oppose Hitler’s government.
>>541082914Curious.If you are liberal you are not intelligent.
>>541082402>finding morally acceptable excuses for my crimes against humanity makes me smart
>>541082402High IQ people are often highly idealistic, and completely oblivious to power relations
>>541082402It has to be institutional capture because liberalism produces absolutely nothing conducive with any pragmatic definition of applicable intelligence. Liberal societies are fat, retarded consumer shitholes with sub replacement fertility rates and other massive structural issues. If that's what "smart" people genuinely produce than the quality "smart" is worthless as fuck.
>>541082718> there may be something inherent in openness and intelligence, where there is a primary openness psychologically that allowed them to pursue unexplored avenues of thought, and that political openness derives from thisI’m pretty sure it’s been empirically demonstrated that intelligence correlates positively with openness. I suspect this being the main reason to. But at the same time, I think being right-wing in the present day might ironically indicate openness more than being a liberal since institutional liberalism has become so puritanical. I’m not a galaxy brain, but I grew up in a liberal family, in a deep blue city, have always been high in openness and I think this trait is primarily what led me to right-wing ideas.
>>541082402>elites You're a simp and being born rich doesn't make you smart
Liberals are only midwits. They are ineffective scum.
>>541082402Not controlled by race so bunk nonsense data for midwits who probably don't even know how distributions work. Also if it was genuinely true that far right people are dumb, why was nazi germany way more advanced and its people much better educated than amerimutts, soviets and the other vermin owned by jews in europe at the time?
>>541083327most of these scum live on credit.
>>541083327I specified cognitive elites, retard
>>541083355So what is your plan forward fwen?I am leaving this shit country.
>>541082718There's a well-established empirical link between trait openness and IQ, yeah.
>>541083408LOL cognitive elites. Most of you are retards.
>>541083355> Not controlled by race so bunk nonsense data for midwits who probably don't even know how distributions work.Check again, retard
>>541082402Smart people are right wing Stupid people are right wing Midwits are left wing I'd like the see how this particular data was collected because even with the actual data for conservative voters, they still averaged higher overall as well. Was this data pulled from a Muslim or eastern population where liberal is still right wing? You left too much out.Seems like bullshit.
>>541083452>Most of you are retardsI am far-right. I simply don’t like living in delusions and feel alienated by all the retards on my side
>>541082711Conservative arguments shouldn't need "intellectual" arguments because they're basic common sense; civic standards, shaming garbage behaviour, above replacement fertility, cultural cohesion that allow organic community and familial dynamics to form without interference from outsiders, emphasis on primary level productive labour over bureaucracy, management, and intelligentisa, etc etc.The reason they don't bother converting these arguments into "intellectual" arguments is because intellectualism is already a coherent subculture built on the express rejection of everything I just mentioned. The arguments aren't rejected due to lack of intellectual points being made, they're rejected because the intellectual substrate of Western civilization is expressly anti-productive industry, anti-family, anti-cultural cohesion, anti-tribalism, etc by default.
>>541083535Not wrong. Hope to see more of you.
>>541083496> I'd like the see how this particular data was collectedThe source is here >>541082816I had AI give me the data and generate the bell curve chart. I didn’t read the entire source and in fairness, I think the IQ data are approximates based on verbal intelligence instead of conventional IQ test scores, but I’m pretty sure the findings are corroborated by other datasets. Deboonk it if you have alternative sources.
>>541082402Because conservatism makes no sense inherently. The universe is a dynamic system that requires constant adaptation as our understanding changes and the world evolves. Conservatives and traditionalists get stuck in their temporal bubble and want their permanent dinosaur age but reality simply doesn't work like that.Plus, they don't actually "conserve" anything. It's all just an excuse to be a fat hick bot serving their master.
>>541082500what does conservative even mean? i haven't seen one in 11 years
