My mom gave me a rant about stocking up non perishable goods and things because she said food prices would skyrocket. I thought it was just more fearmongering until I looked at the prices next time I went to the store. $4.19 for fucking tortillas. $6.83 for the cheapest hamburger per pound. And this shit is advertised as a SALE.Parking lot was nearly deserted too. Nobody can afford this shit. Shit cost half of what it does now like a month ago. What caused prices to double?!
