I was a healthy young person and there were only downsides to getting it. I resisted getting it in University, and had to fill out a form for an official “religious exemption”, and get tested twice a week or else I would be kept from going to class, but I’m glad I didn’t get it. I don’t completely disregard “conspiracy theories” categorically and I think there were definitely conspiracies throughout the COVID era, with market consolidation vis-a-vis lockdowns, cash grabs from pharma companies, and government collusion in all of it, but there were theories about the vax like that it had nano-bots, was going to kill half the population, etc. that were just retarded, and this kind of thinking just seems to be a terminal problem on the right.
