>a large hominid exists on the North American continent
>the powers that be have been keeping this under wraps for decades
Why don't they want us to know about bigfoot?
>>
My favorite theory is that the Dyatlov pass incident was an attack by a hominid such as the one you are describing. Some anon linked a really good write up about it on the archive. I remember him talking about how the tent stake for the central 10 man tent was ripped out of the ground supposedly by wind according to the reports

I thought Dyatlov had been deboonked.
In the final stages of hypothermia people remove their clothes because they feel like they're burning up. The blood is sent to the extremities as a final attempt by the brain the save the body.
Delirium would account for the mess they made of their camp before they ran naked in all directions. Fascinating case.

Sasquatch teleports through the trees. That's why he can't be found. Soon as you think you see him he's gone.

>>541157721

Yeah it was a multi thread effort post that he had linked on the archive that had lots of good pictures and other stuff I don't have the link though sorry man.

One of the pictures he showed was interesting because it was showing the remains that had been "played" with aka femur heads inserted into skulls foramen magnum. No wild animal does that. It could've been a well executed larp but some more resourceful anons might have the links for you to review.

There's a high chance a Bigfoot actually exists. Across MANY different regions of the world, there's reports of Bigfoot from many different sources.

One that I think exists is the Orang Pendek. One that was probably just a bear though was the Yeti.

Of course, people like Patterson or that asshole from New York don't help with legitimating any search for them. They poison the well.

Another that most likely exists is the Otang. Wildlife researchers and tourists that have gone to that part of South Africa have SEEN them. The local people are completely accustomed to them. It's most likely a surviving lineage of an Australopithecus like creature.

Yes, there's an overwhelming amount of anecdotal accounts that point to the existence of some large ape like creatures.
>>
>>541157957
a lot of cultures have similar stories. some being very credible, especially from the native americans. but outside of that.. been nothing but hoaxes from trolls trying to make a quick buck to schizos trying to emulate that success. it's funny how this video got enhanced and what was seen as one the holy grail pieces of film proof was confirmed to be a complete fraud. it's like flat earthers insisting the earth is flat despite video livestreams of earth from space exist confirming that is quite round. they will die on that hill.
>>
>>541157957
They exist in a way but it's just schizos that go wild, ditch all their shit and live in untreated animal skins. And nobody that generally encounters them is game to get close.
>inb4: source

>>541158245
it's very likely a hominid, not an ape, which makes more sense why it would kept under wraps.

Yeah, Patterson was literally strapped for cash and was running out of time. He NEEDED to capture Bigfoot on film.

Just look at how the Bigfoot turns and looks in HIS direction (just so happens to do it).

Pic related was only discovered in 1992. It roams a relatively small area within Vietnam and researchers have put up trail cams all over the area. Despite that it has only been spotted a handful of times. Bigfoot has a potentially much larger area that it could roam around in, so arguments about how "we would have found it by now" fall flat for me.

Also, admittedly I've never been there, but from what I've been able to gather a significant chunk of the Pacific Northwest coast (i.e. the region bigfoot is said to roam around in) is basically unwalkable on foot, and sees very little human activity (especially outside of established hiking trails). A sufficiently smart creature could easily hide itself in the region, despite being relatively large.

Lol, yeah you're not wrong.

This was back in the 80s in Washington, before cellphones, and back when parents didn't helicopter kids. We did it every summer for a couple years. We'd steal the gorilla suit from the costume department from our high school's drama club, hide it in our tent bag, and go camping with our parents around Mt. Rainier. We'd grab the gorilla suit, and some walkie talkies, and go freak people out.
It was pretty fun to run around the woods like a monkey, I'm not gonna lie about that, but yeah we paid the price the last time we did it.
We were 15, it was my buddy's turn, I hid in the bushes, and he spooked some geriatric redneck boomer on a hiking trial. The boomer immediately drew a gun and started blasting. Thankfully he missed, and my buddy panicked and screamed, threw off the gorilla head, and tried to explain as he was sobbing uncontrollably. The boomer yelled and at him and threated to kill him. My buddy freaked out and sprinted into the woods in a blind panic, I lost track of him.
Apparently he had run about a half mile, and tripped down an embankment into a shallow stream. He broke his thumb trying to brace the fall, and smacked his face and got a black eye. Thankfully he managed to roll onto his back before the suit immediately got flooded and pinned him down. He couldn't reach the zipper, and he couldn't get up, so he was just pinned in the stream screaming for help into the walkie talkie. Luckily his head was above water.
I used my walkie to track him down and save him, but he had been stuck for 30 minutes in the freezing water. He was so cold and scared. I made a fire and we spent like three hours just trying to warm him up and calm him down. Then the sun started going down so we just ditched the suit, and made it back to the campgrounds.
We lied to our parents that we had been fighting and that I broke his thumb, his dad called him a pussy for losing.

Good times.

I used to love this topic in the early days of the internet; I was expecting there to be a wealth of hidden knowledge on cryptozoology etc but some 20 years later there's such a tidal wave of clickbait nonsense I've lost all interest. It's a field of interest so full of cranks and grifting...
When I was young, Nessie was still a possibility but her legend seems to be over.
Today, it's somewhat depressing to see all the folk tales and mysteries lose their charm.

There are multiple theories about Dyatlov that involve natural phenomena in that area instead of cryptids or aliums. Apparently that place where it happened is prone to some sonic phenomenon that causes bad disorientation as well.

The cryptid community where I live are fucking awful. Complete bastardization of cool local native/colonial folklore. That faggot glowie Andrew Callahagn did a Ch5 about it, which made the people who enjoy the lore look like kooks in the woods (many are, but its not as gay and deranged as his video makes it out to be). Fucking all charm has vanished. Joseph Bonaparte shot the fucker with a cannon and these are the shit heads carrying the legacy of that on. Fuck off. Feels the same with Big Foot now: a bunch of PNW attention whores in need of some spotlight.

Nigger cattle post. We don't know what it is but the tibetans extensively saw and even interacted with it, they definitely know it wasn't a bear.
Also the US has been confirmed to tamper with remains of them in Tibet.

Proofs? even biologists who have been given the footage to study the gait have said that it's almost impossible to fake, and also no one has made a suit just as good.

2 years ago some researches "discovered" a brand new snake in our beaches despite locals claiming to have seen it often for hundreds of years and even taken pictures of. It lives by the sand and rests in thorny bushes the same color as it, nothing special but it is there.

California? i mean it is the hub for video development since the 1930's.

I know some guys that were hunting in hilly, rocky shit and fuck it I'm going to greentext even though I wasn't there
>see some brown furry creature sneaking into lantana thicket
>alert other hunters
>what was it?
>not a deer, kind of crouched, bigger than a pig, but definitely brown and covered in fur
>3 cunts surround it, aiming to cover any exit
>throw rocks and shout
>..nothing
>all 3 fire into the thicket at the same time
>..nothing
>moving closer and it smells like rotting flesh
>all together now so nobody gets mistaking shot
>took a while to search but nothing is there and the smell is gone and it's getting dark
>go home without any deer

Call bullshit on it if you want but I know one of them well. I just don't believe it was some mythical creature, more likely some schizo human wearing untreated skins. Probably knew the land like the back of his hand and just wanted to be alone. Any animal would have broken cover when they shot at it. Some seasoned schizo might have known better.

Not to mention we have trail cameras literally everywhere now. We've found extinct species. The only one we haven't found is the Tasmanian Tiger which either there's a tiny population deep in the jungle of New Guinea or they're genuinely gone now. Also the guy's family admitted to it being fake.

Tasmania is probably more sparsely populated than New Guinea. It wasn't until the forestry dept was doing lidar mapping or some shit that they found what was the world's biggest hardwood tree or some shit not that long ago. If you can miss a 130m tall tree, it gives you an idea of the bush there.
>>
>>541161578
>If you can miss the world's biggest hardwood tree
It's not hard when that tree is surrounded by 5000 other trees of near equal height. The world's tallest tree is in America and if you look at it from the ground, you can't tell which it is.
