Why cant we do away with plastics for clothing and opt for Better materials like linen, cotton, silk and such?
>>
>>541160051
whats keeping you from only buying clothes made with natural fibers?
>>
>>541160051
Because it would need to be produced locally and that does go well with globalism.
During socialist times, we used to produce hemp for clothing.

Europe and the USA probably needs to grow hemp among other things, yes?

Also it's not that long back when cotton used to be common but I think it doesn't really actually meet demand now and IIRC some former high quality producers of cotton like Egypt fell off. The average cotton became shittier.

Depends, is making clothes out of plastic still cheaper?
As long as thats true, any attempt to remove the poison from your clothing is communism.

Cotton and linen have to be ironed every wash, stain much more easily, and gets eaten by moths and carpet beetles.
Silk requires dry cleaning and makes one a sweaty mess.
Synthetic fabrics are a good blend of wrinkle resistant, moth resistant, stain resistant etc.

BTW you may also wish to buy wool clothes or perhaps wool blankets and other useful stuff.

They also typically aren't using all wool yet.

And of course it is possible.
It depends entirely on consumer purchasing decisions.
Having the government force something like this via restrictive policies is largely deranged.

It's the most efficient way to completely saturate all groundwater everywhere, across all populated areas and areas suitable for human habitation by far, through people washing their synthetic fiber clothes continually, dispersing octillions of microplastic particulates into every millileter of potable water.

Using ShitTok to program zoomies and boomers alike to poison themselves and everyone through fashionable and hip casual urban sports- and streetwear and nuclear chicom Temu bombardment is all part of the sustainable UN millennium development goals, you see.

Lead gasoline is better for energy but its still a poison.
Plastics cause dementia a d all sort of other problems.
Globalism requires jews destroy the local industry to make everything dispersed.
>>
>>541161207
dude just buy the clothes made with cotton and don't buy the synthetic fibers

>Cotton and linen have to be ironed every wash, stain much more easily, and gets eaten by moths and carpet beetles.
Total nonsense. Some linens perhaps, but then linen is for tablecloth and maybe underwear.

I can't even remember the year I last ironed a cotton shirt or jeans, I just dry everything on clotheshangers out of the washer and gravity does all the "ironing" with the final 5% of wrinkles disappearing within 10 minutes of wearing it. Suits perhaps but then you don't put those in a washing machine/

synthetics are also functional like waterproof, a cotton jacket needs to be wax coated, which is impossible for light clothes. theres low elasticity in cotton, they add synthetic polyurethane.
most textiles are polyester because it is recycled PET bottles, post cosumer trash.
cotton has the best feel on the skin, even sheeps wool is unmatched in winter clothes because it turns moisture into heat. cotton would soak up sweat and then lose its insulation ability. every fiber has its place.
