is there anyone else who feels considerably dumber than you used to be? In my youth i was a great speller and i understood punctuation. i was quite good at math as well, i have retained simple things.
my wit, however is completely different. i catch myself fumbling over my words in conversation sometimes. i used to flow. i can be eloquent at times and i feel like my knowledge is ok but i just don't have it anymore a lot of the time.
is it true that people are products of their environments? i have noticed i speak better around certain people. is there anything concrete to that?
does IQ need to be "exercised"?
either way i feel like a shell of myself a lot, admittedly i was never very smart
>>
AI is sucking people's intellect which is frightening considering everyone was already retarded to begin with.
>>
>>541169734
no but only because i've always been dumb so my baseline was always low to begin with.

>is it true that people are products of their environments?
for the most part yes but there are exceptions. it's like an invisible tug of war with people's intents

>i have noticed i speak better around certain people. is there anything concrete to that?
yes.
take the most extreme karen type for example vs an extremely wise and fun monk:

be around the karen for a while and eventually every trivial task starts to feel like a minefield with potential consequences, including speaking certain words. basically a subconscious threat

with the wise monk u can say and do whatever u want as long as your intent is harmless, preferrably fun too, this naturally spawns a feeling of ease and freedom to be yourself

unfortunately big parts of society leans towards that karen minefield mindset, with more and more red tape being rolled out making every trivial task more and more complex

comes down to energy levels and states of mind

does IQ need to be "exercised"?
sure does, just study how things work can be a good start or contemplate new things, visualize potential timelines, states of mind, build things, do business or whatever

>does IQ need to be "exercised"?
Yes. Your brain works like a muscle. If you stop exercising it will begin to tear down itself. That’s why brain jogging and that shit exists although you’d do better by regularly reading books, solve math problems or learn a language.

Every day. The cure is working with people way younger than you because they are fucking retarded. you'll feel like a genius for knowing basic shit like zipping up your fly.

you need to engage in deliberate training to maintain your mental clarity and health. take up yoga.

you have been youthful, and have made mistakes, as men have done since eternity... now that you have learned some things, now that you have overcome some ignorance, you will engage in purification and conscious self-development

Yes but that's because I've been right my entire life and kept letting retarded people slide because of moral bullshit "they're still good people! Like just remember the good times! You're just being avoidant!"

Never falling for that shit again. Lost out on one of the greatest women I have met in my life because of that bullshit.

This. Especially if you have sleep apnea and not getting treatment. The good news is the declines are reversible to an extent if you fix your sleep issues

I homeschooled until high school. When I was young I was always scared that I wasn't as smart as normal kids but then I started going to public school I realized almost everyone around me had the IQ of a loaf of bread and I was basically a genius.
>>
>>541169734
For me it’s just the loneliness of adulthood taking its toll. Speaking to people much less for years on end has caused my brain and mouth to “desync”. The only cognitive decline is in concentration, which I have to be in a good working mood for.

Yes its the seed oils, they cause dementia with toxins like aldehydes that pass straight through the blood brain barrier

To sustain the detox pathways for aldehydes you need enough riboflavin molybdenum and beta-alanine, this is merely a treatment for acute states of aldehyde driven inflammation and brain damage though, this has nothing to do with healing your body, for that you will need every single thing, every vitamin, mineral, amino acid and conditionally essential nutrient

Not me. I forced myself to learn French in my 50's and I read every day, usually memoires of the ancien regime and revolution. I'm 73. While my body is giving me some difficulties my ability to read French fluently and increasingly speak and understand spoken French improves noticeably. I'm in my 70's.

You have to excercise it or it atrophies.
What you don't use you lose.

Get to work!

This is what happens when you're terminally online 24/7 with no physical social interaction
>>

>does IQ need to be "exercised"?
Yes. IQ doesn't really mean as much as the average /pol/ anon wants it to. Everyone on average is mediocre in IQ the thing that seperates the smart people from the dumb people is effort and honing intellectual skills.
>>
>>541170029
Same, but ill talk to you about me anyway. When i was in schizo mode my brain was super clear or "so i thought". Then i came down from my episodes and have really bad "brain fog" now because i don't have such clear convictions anymore about my delusions.

But now i am totally living rational and my past preparedness was right but it wasn't enough if that makes sense. Because again normies will normie and they have been at the game decades longer than me because i was fighting the entire world in my mind instead.

Through high school I was awesome at English, grammar, constantly told I had beautiful penmanship. Aced spelling and was pretty good at math. Then got in with an alcoholic gorgeous slut after I graduated college. Spent the last 3 years my teens, the first 4 of my 20s living in her trailer drinking, smoking weed, occasionally meth and liv I ng on food stamps, banging the bitch everytime she got shitfaced or high, pretty much every night. Moved out of her place and got a job at 24 when I met my wife and fell hard for her. After almost 6 years of partying nin stop, I can't write worth shit, can't hardly do basic math, spell like a retarded nigger in grade school. My wife has do pretty much everything that involves basic math, spelling, reading, writing for me.

Most people just work and toil for whatever life they can grasp while allowing themselves to be exploited by literal psychopaths. Those who make it have good parents and those who don't have shitty parents(i'm in this ballpark).

When you have parents who uplift you it allows you to exploit other people because you have a head start.
>>541172933
I doubt that's the case since rationally before covid i was doing worse than i was today. It's just when you are younger you are more complacent in your own world and don't understand the world moving around you. For example remember when you were a kid and you thought you had life all figured out just playing in the sand box? Then maybe you started to explore the neighborhood so you became the "master" of that. And then you branched out further around the city to other cities. This exploration creep ends when you realize you hit a wall and there's a world out there you can never conquer. It causes me massive cognitive decline because i can't continue the mastery of the world as those in power deny you that.

A lot of men turn to alcoholism because of this. You have your house, job, family and you can't move forward. You are stuck forever until you die and can't escape or change your fate. You will never be the CEO or the man who creates anything just existing under the thumb of more powerful men.

It's 4chan

All that exposure to BAD THINGS has given you brain damage

It's reversible though.

The idea the mind declines with age simply because of chronology is a total myth.
