It's a very potent neurotoxin that negatively affects every cell in your body. It's a major sleep disruptor, it spikes Cortisol I could list the negative shit it does for ten minutes. Weed on the other hand shouldn't be taken by people prone to mental problems, if you had psychotic episodes or something along those lines, you should strictly stay away! It increases the risk of coronary heart disease and heart attacks though that can be mitigated to some degree. If you don't smoke it (no combustion, vape and edibles only!) and consume in moderation, it has a halfway acceptable risk profile. As I've said, none of those things are really good, but if I strictly compare alcohol and cannabis, cannabis is much less harmful in my opinion.
