Ford could make that truck today and sell it for 25k out the door all day every day. Simple, efficient and all you really need.
>>

I thought government regulations prevents Ford from making that car?

That fucker still runs for a reason.
There are R22 freezers from the 1950s that still work.

Not too old though. Because too old you can't get parts for.

If you can find old vehicles in good condition yeah it's worth it but finding a junker is more problem than it's worth

Every time I see pics of old pickups like this it makes me pissed at how fucking ugly trucks have been the past 25+ years.

Old engines are simple and durable but they are so fucking inefficient it's silly.

I have a 231 even fire Buick motor (pre grand national) that's essentially a jeep dauntless v6 before they sold the engine design to GM

I Jeep to GM converted my jeep, but still for the life of me can't find a power steering bracket to to set up a pump and tap my steering box with some lines.

This is actually what Toyota does with their old Land Cruisers. The problem is that they can't sell it to customers directly because they no longer (((meet safety and emission requirements))), so they mostly go to non-profit orgs to drive around in 3rd world. There's probably a healthy black market for these if you know where to look.
