Instead of huge datacenters with massive compute, they should make ai cards like graphics cards that people can buy.
Then you can chose to buy an ai card and run a local unlocked ai instead of these fags telling you bullshit with their ai.
not to mention putting these fuckers in your neighborhood.
any thoughts my nigs?

the purpose of the datacenters is to handle the constant 24/7 video feeds and ai for detecting any dissidence towards The State, retard.
get in ze pod.

and so people cant own their own hardware to run their own programs.
you vill use ze datacenter-connected terminal und everything you do vill be surveilled

but id rather own my own compute and data.
im sure most people would agree or at least the half that aren't easily fuckin brainwashed

The solution is going the IRA route with every AI owner or investor but Americans won't and will watch their land get raped

maybe you can make it so you can sell your compute to the ai mashine
kinda like mining crypto but giving your compute to the ai for money
then its just millions of us gettng money for a little more power cost, and not wasting billions of gallons of water and stealing power from neighborhoods.

there will be no options.

You can do that, but it's more efficient in a compute farm like that.

A home AI is good for certain things, but for high performance tasks, I would rather use one of these streamlined services

Already here, not all chips on the wafer make the cut for datacenters. So they’re putting them in laptops. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/products/rtx-spark/

that might be fine for inference of small models but in training, you need to store the model weights (unquantized), plus model deltas plus optimizers plus your training data and inference thr model billions of times to do the training
you can't domestically train a 30b model
Also you can't decentralise training because even if every node had the entire model, it would be prohibitively slow to send up the model deltas and optimizers and download the new weighta over the internet when thousands of others are also doing it
ofc you could argue that means we should wait 10years until better ai architectures are developed

we are not a democracy, we are suffering under a jewish oligarchy. now normies are antisemetic psyops is not enough to maintain control, it will be soviet level terror campaigns after the war.

i want them to train with our compute that we contribute to the network for a fee, and/or we can use it to run our ai models instead.
thats the future im talkin bout.
you an opt into training and which models you agree with to train, or use your compute and maybe even trade compute with like minded people.
idk im drunk and thinkin mafuckers.

someone needs to come up with an open source ai that is trained using compute power from whoever wants to contribute but make it unlocked as frig.
@elon do it fagit.

Nvidia’s NEMO model is a high‑capacity system with very few guardrails effectively frontier‑grade. The problem is the server that runs it costs about $50k and needs 5000 watts.

The problem is training. A 26B bleeding edge model that has an unlimited reasoning budget is more or less equivalent to having access to world class PhD assistance - the models are able to respectably compete with some of the hardest problems humanity can think of, all using ~200 watts of power. This is possible because of *training* anon - the models are trained by feeding PB of info to train a massive (now approaching an alarming 10 trillion parameter) model, which is then compressed down into a size manageable, with only a minimal loss in quality.

With a few pending upgrades, you'll be able to run a ~4B parameter model on your phone, which will be smart enough to correctly reason it's way through whichever esoteric quantum mechanics problems you present it with.

These data centers you see are mostly for training a static model with trillions of parameters with PB of data, not a housing for some kind of massive alien brain, do not be ridiculous anon

The data centers are a two-pronged attack. They run the massive surveillance operation currently being rolled out across America. They are also siphoning the water supply to the underground bunkers. They're preparing for manufactured resource wars.

AI hardware to run leading models is Very Expensive.
No normies or poor people will pay for it upfront when they can pay monthly and timeshare.
Sad but true.

>they should make ai cards like graphics cards that people can buy.
You still don't get it do you. They don't want you owning anything (except debt).
>>
>>541203539
there is currently a project like that
sadly ml training is not embarassingly parallel like crypto mining, so decentralised training will always be an order slower. (Unless someone comesup with a better training scheme?)
>>
>>541201479
they are making accelerators (the npus that go in 'ai' laptops) but only halfheartedly because everyone is stunlocked by the prospect of a new development obsolescing their ASICs
The chips you speak of would be great tho, they'd offer much better performance/price
>>
>>541201479
>Then you can chose to buy an ai card and run a local unlocked ai instead of these fags telling you bullshit with their ai.
But the whole point is to make you pay for a kiked AI that subtly nudges your thought process towards pro-semitism. Letting you run your own unregulated AI would ruin the trillion-dollar business of selling you lies.
You're a very bad goy
